It's weird, in my head, I know you're right. In my heart, it still hurts. I think life probably would have been different. That affected me so much. The depression from it took over my teen years. Oh well, what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger, right?

Yeah, I didn't realize that I changed skin tones like that until I took this picture. I almost didn't post it but thought every time I see it, it will remind me a) I need a hair cut. b) I seriously need a darker foundation. LOL

That's why I added in and in so many parts of the world (meaning other developed nations). I know we have children starving here too. They need access to this also. ESPECIALLY being that we are a developed nation with so much excess. Even right now when lots are going through economic hardships we still have so much thrown away. Not getting to people who need it. All of those kids break my heart. I wish I could help all of them.

You didn't know I went to school K-12 and was friends with Joey Jordison did you? That must be it. LOL Just kidding. I know. It's not a period of time I'm proud of. I'm just glad that one day I got up and decided I wasn't going to do it anymore. It was hard. For a long time I could smell it in strange places, out in the country when they were doing the fields, in areas where they had new paint (that tells you how scary some of the stuff is that is in it). The scary part is that those nasty smells made me crave it still. It's been quite a few years since I even thought about it, but thinking about casting a movie of my life and at what point would even be interesting as a movie brought that back to me. I'm kind of a loner now because everyone that I hung out with in my early 20's did it. I had to drop all of those friends to stay away from it. Now I just have a couple of friends in real life that I'm close to that aren't family. That's ok. I'd rather be here and alive and happy and healthy than in the virtual (and possibly literal) gutter with a lot of "friends". I am looking at it positively, I have had a long real life experience to draw from when I tell my kids why you shouldn't do drugs. I could have ruined my life (at the time that's the path I was heading down) and I could have killed myself with it. I'm just glad I did turn it around in time to have my children. I can't imagine what my life would be like without them.
