new game + : NGR: Episode 18 - See We Three PC

Omg shirts would be awesome! Also I have been digging different video game music at the end of every podcast ^_^ I enjoyed this episode. It made me want to play computer games; which isn't possible for me because my comp is kinda broken... :( It doesn't play sound at all! Have you guys ever heard of the PC game called Twinsen's Odyssey? It was one of my favorite comp. games EVER! I think it was a sequel for a game but I'm not sure. If I could ever play that game again...whew. Also Troy what kind of paddles do you have exactly? I couldn't remember you saying on the podcast.

I'm not even tired yet tonight so I will at least come up with an outline or something. I promise you guys will get one from me!

The Wiire : The Wiire Podcast 142

Ahem...back to talking about the podcast now. The Conduit - I might have given it a shot, but a couple things are keeping me from doing so. 1-I'm gonna be gone in a month, and 2-I got an xbox 360 and now have many games I need to finish before I buy anymore. I haven't finished Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, Super Mario Galaxy, Bioshock, Fable 2, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Fallout 3, Okami(for Wii), Mirror's Edge..and that's just the beginning. It does look like a good game, but I just don't have the time for it. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 - Sounds like an amazing game, but at the same time that doesn't mean it is for everyone. People like me and Andrew Eder aren't into golf and so therefore I do not believe we would enjoy this game. I have a little story to tell you guys and it is a great example of why you guys should quit bugging Andrew to go and pick up the game. If he wants to, he will. So once upon a time there was a guy named Dexton(that's me). Two of his best buddies were(and still are) really into NCAA Football '09. They convinced me to go and pick it up(hardest game to find ever) even though I had never really been into football video games before. I was terrible at this game and every time I played I got slaughtered whether I was just playing the comp. or one of my friends. I only played a few games and I haven't touched it since. It was a complete waste of $55 and I regret the day I bought it. So Andrew, don't buy this game unless you really want to. SEGA - I am glad that they are going to continue to supports Mature games on the Wii. The Wii right now is still very lacking in the Mature title area. It has plenty of casual games but mature games are few and far between. I'm not going to complain about it anymore because it has been done enough. The reason I haven't picked up games like "Madworld" and "The Conduit" are because Nintendo lost me before they even came out. I had already switched over to the 360 and I had plenty of "must play" games already on my plate. I don't play video games as much as I used to and I definitely don't buy as many. Back to SEGA though...I am glad there is a third party company that isn't scared of making mature games for the Wii, hopefully they won't let everyone down(like they did when I downloaded the demo for Phantasy Star Universe and it didn't even work) Nintendo Buying a UK TV Show - ?...no comment Mom Selling Stolen Wii - Brilliant...I applaud her stupidity. She is a wonderful example to her kids, and they are going to grow up to be the best kids in the whole wide world(squeegees off sarcasm from the sentence). Overall a great podcast guys. Packed full of great conent and still hilarious :) I just want to thank you for the amount of reviews and content you guys are busting out and I do appreciate. I know I haven't commented in a while but I'm still lurking around on all the articles watching...and waiting... o_o

I'd have to agree with you on that one actually. I'm not really into game music, but I like hearing about it, and it made me want to go look up game music(subliminal messaging) :)

One thing I forgot to say that I didn't remember until I was looking up at the songs that were used during the podcast. I liked that there was different music in between your segments. Idk why I like it so much but I do :) I know it was probably there just cause you guys were talking about game music but it would be cool if you did it more often.

I, unlike everyone else on here so far, didn't mind the new format too much. It was a nice change and I like how you guys stayed on topic for once. Now that being said, this does not mean in any way that I wish this to be the permanent new format for the podcast. I wouldn't mind one of these every now and again though :) Your regular format is better overall, but this one seemed like more of a "professional" quality. And what I mean by that is, I don't remember hearing any awkward pauses, and it seemed like everyone was very involved, and it was full of cool info. It definitely seemed shorter to me, but I didn't mind. I felt like you guys ended it at a point. It wasn't too short, and it wasn't overly discussed. Now for my thoughts on Puzzle Games. I find that most of the time I lean towards the Puzzle Games that aren't purely just a puzzle game. There are other elements included, like adventure or platforming. One of my favorite puzzle games(and a good example of this) is "Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure". It has cool adventure elements to it like "tea time"(Kelly you know whats up) and his awesome clothes and weapons. It combines the puzzle element by being the final stage to kill the monsters in and get cool power ups. I haven't played it in a while so I may be missing some things, but nonetheless it is a really fun game. On the other end of the puzzle game spectra you have games like Art Style: Aquia and Bejeweled which Are pure puzzlers and I get bored of them very quickly because they are so repetitive. Puzzle Games aren't one of my top genres but I like picking them up every once and a while because they can be fun and challenging. Puzzle games are those ones where you tell your parents video games aren't just a waste of time. They work your brain, and they are making you smrter. You guys don't have to read this one if you don't want to, cause its long...but yeah there ya go :)

First off before my real first off...this message is from the morning after the podcast was posted and therefore would have totally been the first one. I typed it up on my ipod touch; which took forever and then when I went to post it, it showed it was there. So then like that night I come to check on the site and the only comment was Kelly's...mine wasn't there. So looks like I can't do it from my touch grrr. First off I would like to say that yes I have been a bit of a slacker these past few episodes, BUT I did have three questions ready for this last one. I was up the canyon though so I didn’t have service. Neverthless I shall come up with a few questions for this week before you guys record. Now for my comments on the podcast. -I, like Chris, do not have an HD tv sadly to say so I will also be waiting until I get one to experience the full awesomness that is Rez HD. -I like Mario because there are fun secrets all over in every game, it has fun original gameplay, and it has great music! -Chris, the DK Rap is on Donkey Kong 64 and everyone knows it’s awesome lol -Troy thanks for the mention. -Kelly, sorry I could’ve got you in trouble at work haha -Troy and Calin, I will totally play Castle Crashers with you guys. It’s one of my favs ^_^ Chris you totally need to buy it!

Alright...this comment is going to be HUGE, but I shall write it nonetheless. It shall be kinda random and scattered so you are just going to have to deal with it ok?! -Wii enthusiast my ass...yep that's all I got for that one... -Podcast seemed extra awesome this week XD Maybe cause there was a 2 week gap...but I did miss Kelly being on there :( It would have made it like 10 times better -Calin you aren't supposed to pronounce the l in soldering. It's pronounced soddering...I thought you were a professor, but I guess not...lol ;) -I totally thought Troy was being sarcastic at first about Mirror's Edge cause it totally sounded like it. Or was it just me??? Did anybody else think he was? -You can indeed have all sorts of relationships in Fable 2. Guy to guy, guy to girl, girl to girl, girl to guy. It's funny if you move two different people your married to right next to each other then they will get in fights and say stuff like "well my house is way better looking than yours" and "I married him first" it is hilarious :) Also the game is definitely longer than 8 hours. -I hope in the next Zelda they finally let you choose a chick to have a relationship if you want. Or better yet! You can breed Navi with different fairies and have little baby fairies running around going Hey! Look! Over Here! Common! Hey! Hey! -1 vs. 100 is free so its awesome! Plus you could totally win prizes! -Sorry that some of my questions were worded so horribly. I will try better next time :( -I used to kinda be a Nintendo fanboy but now I have seen the light and am not really prejudice/against any console. I have a Wii and Xbox360 and would love to get a PS3 once they drop more in price. -I thought Troy's spell he chose and why he chose it was freakin awesome and quite comical XD That made me laugh a lot!
