That's because NYCC uses the Javitz, which requires 3 years of financial documentation to book; which BronyCon doesn't have. And there's nothing really in range between the Hotel Penn and the Javitz in NYC proper.

Well, I'll see ya there! Helsinki's got a special place in my heart, even though I'm a Boston filly by birth. :P

Hey Toxic. If it helps any, we actually have some hotel rates, they're just not ready to go live yet. We can offer a hotel room for $125 per night, according to our con chair, Zephyr. We'll have them ready within a week too, so keep your eyes open on our site for that!

We have some great things in store to help out with most of these concerns, actually. Just keep your eyes peeled, hopefully we'll be able to announce some great things soon.

As for Boston, Fillydelphia, and Providence, there are some reasons that we elected to not go with any of those locations. Baltimore was the best location for us, and for you, the attendees.
