Since we bombed those 2 cities, justifiably I might add, many American leaders seem to be afraid to win a war. Only after those bombings did we start fighting wars of attrition. The last time America used a strategy of attrition before Hiroshima was the American Revolution for independence from England. Doesn't that seem a bit odd?
