We had a sort of Tiannaman situation in 1972. Unfortunately it backfired and cost us, the taxpayer hundreds of millions. Here is the ideal situation where the police can practice and demonstrate all their methods of non lethal force, in preparation for the orchestrated july season. It will make good television viewing given than there is nothing more fun to watch than rioters getting a deserved good kicking from the forces paid to uphold the law.

What a bunch of saddo miserable pillocks. The christmas season and they still have to behave as if its the 12th and some grouping has denied them the right to walk down some road. The only thing they need is a great big kick up the arse.

Loyalism harps back to the days when a private Army was raised by Lord Carson in 1913 with the overall aim of setting up an independent state if Britain chopped command in favour of dublin home rule. History overtook events with WW1, the Loyal "sons of Ulster" volunteered to fight in the British Army and were virtually wiped out in the Battle of the Somme.
Todays so called loyalists have the original ideals but to a man have not the physical courage to join the British Army and face up to what it means to be a soldier in peacetime let alone a full blown war.

BR. In 1998 the world was given the message by the great and good Tony Blair that TERRORISM WORKS. A government at some stage WILL SURRENDER to terrorist aims. This is what ignited islamist terrorism worldwide.
The administration in Northern Ireland is quite expert in repeating its past mistakes.

Northern Ireland assembly.
DUP. A crowd of disaffected in power and don't know what to do with it, need the backing of former so called loyalists, having a manifesto that focuses entirely upon identity with the most transparently false attempt to "reach out to other communities" , supposedly supporting to champion the cause of British Soldiers without any of them having served in the professional Army, now having to face up to the first real courage demanding challenge of their governmental tenure: WHEN TO FLY THE UNION FLAG ON THE ROOF OF BELFASTs CITY HALL.
Sinn Fein A party of terrorist murderers with a manifesto to increase division in Northern Ireland, flout the law whenever it suits them, encourage extreme violence, rewrite history to portray murderers as human rights activists, dilute elite meritocracy on so called equality grounds, spend taxpayers money to further their own individual party aims then continually whining about the past and how much they , their children are suffering without anything constructive even in the planning for any future outlook.
And you STUPID FECKERS voted both these parties into office.

They see property destroyed by evil violence and are asked to pick up the bill for rebuilding it. Yet people who benefit from all this now viciously defy Westminster, purporting to act as though they were an elected government; people who spend their lives sponging on Westminster and British democracy and then systematically assault democratic methods. Who do these people think they are?
We have really moved on haven't we, for any of you who remember this quotation.

The arrest figures seem to be a bit pathetic. I thought the future of policing was demonstrated last week when a hoodie was getting cracked with a nice baytin stick. I was wrong. Baton charge these thugs, arrest them for bing part of a violent disturbance then get them charged with affray and sentenced in the courts. If nothing else at least it will pave the way to stop the Ardoyne attempted murderers with live ammunition next July.

I hope you keep on with your profession. Please don't be afraid to move away if your family are threatened. They are more precious to you than anything.
