West Ham Till I Die : Who are Our Loan Targets?

I have a feeling that one of those targets could be Habib Beye. He was signed by Allardyce at Newcastle and isn't getting a game at villa! A tad over the hill for me but could be a solid backup for Faye and Tonks. Comments from Allardyce after initially signing him.... Allardyce said in a later interview on the clubs website that he felt he acquired Beye for a "bargain" price and that him and his international colleague who also signed with him, Abdoulaye Diagne-Faye would be excellent signings for Newcastle.

West Ham Till I Die : Oh I Wish It Could Be Yom Kippur Every Day....

I agree with AussiHammer i think we need to leave Cole out this weekend, no one should be made to think they are Indispensable and Pic and Obinna are looking like they could hit it off! Barrera looked pretty good also and i think maybe a 442 with barrera and dyer on the flanks! Need to beet the spuds sooner rather than later, no time like the present! COYI!!!

West Ham Till I Die : Losing my Blogging Cherry

I think we badly need Da Costa back in the mix, look at the coals from sat.... Two headers from Essien who can't be more than 5 ft 11!! Da Caosta is dominant in the air and lets face it we are playing stoke this weekend! He seemed to finish last season so well, i dont understand why he's not been given a chance this year! I feel he and upson could forge a good partnership at the back with Jacobsen looking decent on sat and if Ilunga can get some form back it wont be a bad back 4... Starting 11: Green Jacobsen Upson Da Costa Ilunga Hitz (if fit) Parker Noble Dyer Cole Obinna COYI..!!

West Ham Till I Die : The Variable Factors Need to Go Our Way!

Agreed, he has also gone about things in the right manor! He hasn't gone on strike demanding a move, and now he says he's goingto get his head down and fight for the team. Fair play to him, if only more PL players were like that!

Behrami has to stay now and i'm certain he will give his all even if it is only until january. We need to give him a break, he's away from his family and he's never given anything but 100% for the team, sometimes things just dont work out! I don't know why we dont slot him in at right back with hitz, parker and noble in the midfield 3. Surely he would make a class RB with his engine? COYI!!!

West Ham Till I Die : Results: Player Performances v Aston Villa

Defiantly agree with you on Diamanti. When are we going to play him in his strongest position? Stick him in the hole and let him roam, has that somthing extra we really need at the mo, if we give him the opportunity! Barerra Cole Diamanti would be a very exciting front 3!

I'm really hoping this gives us an early kick up the a@$ as we have some tough opening fixtures! I think it's a bit early to start getting on certain players backs especially SP, however i think James Tompkins needs a bit of time out of the team as he seems to be a bag of nerves when it comes to competative games. God knows why he started when he's played most of pre season at RB and then we go and leave Gabbs on the bench? The team selection was a bit baffling tbh... I didn't think Reid was in contention and LBM sdtarting never fills me with confidence, him and Faubert in the front 3 is way to defensive and isolates CC up front, I would have liked to see Diamanti or Barrera from the start.. Need a positive reaction against Bolton, we dont have the best record againts the trotters but i'm hoping to see a much more attacking line up and a few goals to boot! COYI!!

West Ham Till I Die : Do We Still Need to buy a Pacy goal scorer?

All this talk of the Parker advertising being removed is extremely interesting.... Surely the two Daves wouldn't back track after so vigorously quoting that they would under no circumstances sell Scott Parker! And not to forget all the stuff about west ham fans being let down too many times in the past... The end of this transfer window could be extremely interesting indeed!

Sulejmani seems to be a much more attractive option to me, take him on loan and see what he can do, he is'nt proven but neither is Remy and at least we have Petrovic as a reference. In regards to Remy, £13m is a HELL of a lot of cash for someone we know very little about and the way he and his representatives have behaved during this long drawn out saga makes me think he's more trouble than he's worth. Stick with Sulejmani the safest of safe bets...

I think the best option is to get Bellamy back! We sorely missed him last year and still has 3 good seasons left in him and could get him for a decent price... I totally agree with SJ. the counter attacking threat just hasn't been there since he left. If you look at Bellers quotes below it seems he would come back, and i for one would welcome it! “The way I left still aggravates me because it is one of the happiest periods I have ever had in football and it is a really special club. “Having played for West Ham is one of the things that Carlos Tevez and I talk about. It’s the first result we both look for every weekend. “I’m not likely to play now for any other English club in my career but if I did, I’d like it to be West Ham.

West Ham Till I Die : Let's All Play 'Guess the Team'!

Green Reid Upson Da Costa Ilunga Noble Parker Hitzlsperger Faubert Cole Diamanti Subs: Stech, Ben Haim, Piquionne, Dyer, Barrera, McCarthy, Kovac That could all change if a few deals go through.... Surely Soke cant get Remy over us? I thought their chairman said we had submitted an acceptable offer and Loic was interested? I would have thought the lure of the capital would have sealed the deal?!?!
