Agreed Glen, those Leeds fans were outstanding. Not criticising our away fans who have been unbelievable, but our home fans have a lot to answer for. Even if you can't stand the tactics, the players are lifted by the crowd, the more we boo, the harder it gets. Yes I know its pretty dire right now but if we cheered the occasional good move (and there are some) and the odd good tackle I really think it would make a difference. Most if not all of the players are trying hard, let's back them.

I actually thought the players played well, in the second half we looked the better side, and after Cole came on I thought we might just nick it. However playing longball to a not tall lone forward is just not a winning tactic, and why have 5 in the midfield just to hoof the ball over their heads. Shame there's no vote for manager's tactics.

I didn't see the game, only listened to the Radio with Julian Dicks, who was at times incredulous of the tactics!
My thoughts on the whole game are summed up by BFS comment after the game (and I quote) " At 1-0 I'd have liked the players to have seen it out, but they didn't."

So after 9 minutes the manager was wanting the team to hold onto a 1-0 lead against a team at the bottom of the table, when we had been rampant and all over them. UNBELIEVABLE

Very smart, 750,000 for six points and a backup goalie can't be bad,

Agree with that Codisz, having to go back to page 2 after you refresh is an irritation. I also have problems commenting from my phone, and as nowadays that is my main access rather than the works computers that is an issue. It all looks good and when I next get on a computer the comment isn't there, (you might say this is a good thing!) Minor niggles however, and guest writers would be nice as long as we don't lose the backbone of you and SJ - Thanks again for all your work, it is much appreciated

As a self confessed geek, too lazy or unable to work out the stats, welcome. I'm sure I will enjoy your contributions. By the way Iain the spelling in your first paragraph is not up to your usual standard, don't let Headmaster catch you :D

All that nostalgia just had me go and watch "The Magic of the FA Cup - West Ham Goals" which they showed over here recently, I wonder if we'll see those kind of performances again soon?
