I expected it to happen but was disappointed nevertheless. I hate how Starlight Glimmer's motivation for evil was ultimately as thin as everyone else motivation. She was originally very interesting with this idea of a authoritarian, egalitarian society. THe fact that she would willingly hide her cutie mark spoke to me that she truly believed in her own spiel, and that while she didn't take her own, it wasn't due to cowardice. It was due to the belief that only she had the POWER to fulfill her ideas, and by taking her own mark it would have rendered her incapable of protecting her people, and furthering her ideals.

That made her super interesting! She was very competent as a magic user and that still showed until here. But she just HAD to have a damaged childhood, didn't she? And of course she had to have been redeemed. Just disappointing. I have to admit this is the first time I just turned off an MLP episode half way through. I knew what was going to happen and it looks like it did. Redeemed and was befriended by everyone.

What do you have to do to have some good recurring villains that actually stay as such in this show? I felt Starlight Glimmer could've been one of the best. Competent, intelligent, and cunning. Oh well.

I love them. Action figures are my THING and this is what I've wished for. They don't look weird like the articulated ponies and I like my some Equestria Girls!

One of the reasons why I never interacted with this community more than just the occasional comments. Bronies like this cannot accept anything outside of a narrow mindset and interest. they're only concerned with believing MLP is the best and it is the only thing that has any right to exist. Absolutely atrocious.

Fuck that shit. I may have been interested in this game in the first place that it was an MLP fighting game, but as a fighting game fan FIRST, I'm going to give it a shot considering it's built from probably one of the best fighting game engines in a long time.

It wasn't a horrible episode but I couldn't help but feel like it's "eh" to me. I suppose it felt too much like some fan's fanfic and nothing more. Personally, I'm not very interested in what FANS think of the world. I want to see Studio DHX's vision of the world, so 100 ruins that for me.

I was honestly more intrigued and interested in the Bugbear. Holy shit that thing is legit awesome. It's stuff like that helping to give Equestria a sense of danger and adventure that really helped to draw me in the first place.

I really enjoy Equestria as a world. As cool as the pony characters get, I think it's a shame that it's all many people seem to care about when the world of Equestria is vast and interesting.

The very fact that a creature like this can exist shows that Equestria is even more crazy and awesome than we believed prior to this point. I want to know more about the world as a whole and what other things exist in it.

I'm not going to lie. I'm more excited for the Bear/Bee/Hornet THING. That thing is singularly the most awesome thing to exist in Equestria. If we don't see more of it in Season 5 then it will be a total crime.

Yes. You can only draw it out for so long before it feels dull and old ground is tread. I want to see new things, not keep rehasing the cutie mark search every season.
