However, it seems to me the best way to advance Raffy to third from second is to hit the ball to the right side, which could result in a hit. The fact that Joe bunts seldomly, other than with pitchers, is puzzling in this situation. It seems like it might be the only bunt to get a runner to third this season, unless a pitcher was bunting.
