Amused,admittedly I arrived in the middle of this verbal slug fest,so I really don't have a dog in this fight. I would question the assertion that Chomsky is basicly unknown as an American hater, He's been at the revolutionary ramparts since the mid '60's. Self hating? I sure wouldn't question that. He still draws large crowds of young (& not so young) to whom America is the enemy of mankind & always will be.. RE bin Laden,,you're probably right. Most Americans don't really care about the details of his demise as long as he's dead. I bring it up because it's a source of pride with me. It might have taken 10 years,but we hunted him down,extricated him from his rat hole & eliminated him,Just like we said we would. Be well.

Amused,I'd nominate the traitor Noam Chomsky as the second "evil king of the left." He spoke locally last week bemoaning the "tragedy" that the "unarmed" bin Laden was offed rather than captured by SEAL TEAM 6 operators. Guess the AK47 that he opened up with against the SEALS must've been a cleverly designed squirt gun.

Gingrich is an untrustworthy,disloyal snake-& I say that as a citizen who has voted Republican since Jimmy Carter showed what (little) he was made of. Personal life as mudslinging? When you have an affair with another woman & divorce your wife while she's dying of cancer while simultaneously braying about "family values"- gives me a strong feeling of how readily he'd sell out our country when the going gets tough. During his mercifully brief political ascendancy in the mid ninties,he further demonstrated what vile depths he's willing to descend to. Recall the horrific incident in Chicago when a woman of color's fetus was ripped from her body by an obviously psychopathic resident of her public housing tract. He blamed the entire incident on the Democrats' 30 year war on poverty. Electing this man to ANY public office again-or even taking him seriously-would be like electing Attilla the Hun to the highest office in our land. Unless the Republican party can stop practicng rectocranial inversion by promoting jokes like Gingrich & Trump,Obama needn't even bother campaigning next year. In case it's escaped anyone's notice,bin Laden was offed during HIS watch.

How can anyone take Coulter's imflammatory & ignorant comments seriously? With her irresponsible ad hominems & ludicrous vitriol,she's an embarassment to serious discussion regarding the threat of predatory Islam. Her irrelevant comments regarding abortion & atheism are cases in point. Unless I'm greatly mistaken,this is not a forum promoting any (or no) religious preference. Similarly for abortion. This individual does serious discussion of a serious subject a disservice. However,consider the popularity of her books,I;m sure she laughs all the way to the bank.

Gotta disagree with the "Christian Nation" description. The founding fathers were at most deists. The constitution mentions nothing about Jesus,heaven,resurrection,or any other tenets of Christianity. It was secular for a purpose. The majority of Americans may be Christian,but that doesn't make us a "Christian" nation. That said,making nice with Muslims who've already killed 3,000 of us in 2001 isn't what I want to hear from a newbie president who himself has Islamic ties.
