Oh? Obviously you've never been to a restaurant in Europe with a group of friends and be refused service because they stereotyped us Americans for having bad manners.

I got lucky because I'm Asian and they thought I was Japanese (I'm not...) and I got my food. My buddies behind me in line weren't so lucky.

This guy causing trouble in Canada will give everyone one more reason to trounce on Americans, on top of bad manners, bad behavior (Amanda Knox anyone?), the wars, the dirty politics, etc. etc.

Camera operators are not supposed to zoom in on faces and license plates anyway, since the media also has feeds of the cameras. Also don't want any web snapshots of faces :P

Apparently, WSDOT has a traffic camera every half mile or so. None of it is recorded or used for law enforcement purposes.

They are cutting routes with the lowest ridership and adding service to those with the highest demand. Pretty common sense approach to me...

Why? Because I like this country. It has so much potential. Remember the 1950s when people were willing to invest in this country and prepare it for the future? Remember how we began the world's biggest publics works projects in history, the Interstate Highways?

Where is that American spirit for investing in the future? The only thing I hear now is "I don't wanna pay for it". How nice of you to inherit a wonderful country your parents left you and leave it in shreds for the next generation.
