West Ham Till I Die : Results: Player Performances v Stoke

A team is playing staff, management staff, tactics and formation, also only two players from last season? true on paper but facts would say that Dyer has barely played last season, C.Cole has barely been partnered with Obinna, and Gabbidon has been reverting to Left-Back, as well as the starting eleven there is another 2 new players. Transistion period, as is Hodgson at Liverpool. Also i think you would find that i did actually state that we had a poor first half against stoke, it bemuses me how you manage to see we plaayed poor for 84minutes, maybe that was you playing fifa rather than watching the game u muppet!

This is a NEW team with a new management, and the gelling period is only just beginning, were 6 points behind the top half of the table, for a team in a transition period we can catch this sooner rather than later! I firmly believe that we will hit the top ten this season and truly flourish in the second half of the season as well as going far in both Cup competitions! Tommorows team has to be good with possesion but also strong and quick overall, my personal Selection would be: GK - Robert Green RB - Lars Jacobsen CB - Manuel Da Costa CB - James Tomkins LB - Daniel Gabbidon RM - Valon Behrami CM - Scott Parker CM - Mark Noble LM - Kieron Dyer CF - Carlton Cole CF - Victor Obinna Bench: Stech, Ben Haim, Kovac, Barrera, Faubert, Piquionne, Nouble

7 Games, 3 Victorys, 3 Draws and only ONE Defeat! The fans need to relax a bit, undoubtly we are all very frustrated at being rooted to the bottom of the table and in the bottom three since the opening day, but we are growing as a team, other than the second half at Newcastle and first halfs at Wolves and Stoke there is nothing else that suggests this!

West Ham Till I Die : Match Preview: Stoke v West Ham

My personal team to face Stoke: GK - Robert Green RB - Lars Jacobsen CB - Matthew Upson CB - James Tomkins LB - Herita Ilunga RCM - Valon Behrami CM - Scott Parker LCM - Mark Noble RW - Kieron Dyer CF - Carlton Cole LW - Victor Obinna Think we need a physical approach in midfield with tough tacklers to try and nulify there physical game as much as possible, with Carlton Cole used as a foil for both Victor Obinna and Kieron Dyer, with them to hoping to have the quality and pace to open up the Stoke back four!

West Ham Till I Die : Rolling Transfer Rumour Mill

Why are the majority criticising transfer dealings at the moment, we still have over 5 hours left to conclude any business and are clearly working hard to improve the team! Fabio Daprela - Yes a promising full-back but in this current climate and our current situation we need characters and players with experiance, whether that be in the premierleague or at International level. Same goes to Alessandro Diamanti, unpredictably brilliant at times but he's the type of luxury player only the likes of the top 6 can use as there remaining players can pick up his mistakes. Jonathan Spector has no admirers so people still slating the board for not selling him, WHY? You cant sell a player who no team wants. Lets back the board and see what the transfer dealings read at the end of the day! FOREVER CLARET AND BLUE!

West Ham Till I Die : Amidst the Transfer Anticipation, Do Not Forget Our Youngsters!

So it seems from the wording on the West Ham website, we will be signing three players: RW - Pablo Barrera - Seems a dead cert! - 24 Caps - £4M CB - Tal Ben Haim - Free transfer, renewed our interest in him - 54 Caps - £0 RF - Loic Remy

West Ham Till I Die : Hammers Bid for Piquionne

If we do bring in Frederic Piquionne to Upton Park i for one will be absoloutely delighted, he was a constant threat at his time with Portsmouth. To be fair to his goalscoring record, it was his first season in the Premiership under tough conditions regarding the clubs future, at a settled West Ham (We hope it's settled anyway) i believe he can form a good partnership with Carlton Cole, yes he is not a marquee signing but if we are as reports continue to link us with, sign Yakubu, then thar quartet of C.Cole, Yakubu, Piquionne and a Fit after world cup finals Benni McCarthy , is a pretty good strike force. Whilst we would also have Zavon Hines waiting in the Wings, and even perhaps Frank Nouble.

West Ham Till I Die : Fulham v West Ham: Match Thread

Well Done Zola for sticking with the same team, even though we are safe why take our foot of the gas? when there is another £3Million at stake and 4 league places up for grabs! At the end of the day these two matches might be whats decisive in him keeping his job! Welcome back Luis Boa Morte, such a shame he was injured at ore season, do hope we hold on to him and hope he can prove his worth and show glimpses of his ability to warrant him a new contract in these final two games.
