Ted Kennedy was a hypocrite of the WORST kind. Hiding money offshore to avoid taxes while ALWAYS voting to raise our taxes, spouting off about wind power but not allowing a turbine offshore near his home, he was a drunk and said horrible, nasty, VICIOUS things about other people. But, I think the fact that it was so unexpected is part of it's value. Again, it's such a terrible tragedy and in my heart, I have not sacrificed these poor soul's lives for the sake of demonstration. I do think however, that this video captures, (in a way at least I have never seen), how speeding and likely, a split second lapse of attention is all it takes. I live in CA, in the high desert, so we get a little bit of snow now and then, and 50 miles below me, they get much more rain. EVERY time it rains and snows, there are accidents- often, pretty bad ones because people do not slow down. Although I try to avoid driving in either of these conditions, when I've had to, I am absolutely blown away at how many people are speeding like maniacs- usually teenagers. Of course, I'm not advocating that we barrage people and kids with video of every kind of accident. Stuff happens. But I can tell you that I will never forget this video. Neither would any teenager. It is unique in that not only do you first see the vehicle merely driving but then you see the mistake, the attempt at correction and then the complete disaster, (without blood & flying body parts), and there is still absolutely no doubt of the result. The title didn't need to say fatal for us to know it was. The fact that the title did, was the right thing to do of course, because this video warrants a warning. I think Breitbart is concerned with more than politics. Of course, that's his focus but I think he just did us all a public service. Maybe I'm off base and I certainly respect your point of view.
