An honorable act that even many mufti's did not have enough faith in Allah to carry out. May Allah bless you sir.

Both deals will definitely benefit Ananda and certainly fees were being paid to certain individuals to initiate and close the deals. Could be the same group for both deals. At times when mega projects are scarce those who live on fees from "consulting services" resorted in creating paper based projects.

It was speculated that Daim's wealth was used to batter Ringgit to the current rate, a move made as an effort to remove Najib from office. How that would benefit him, I have yet to understand

Why use the word "molest" when just because these malay girls were cladded in head scarves did not mean that they are the innocent and vulnerable Muslim girls that need protection. If the religious authorities really want to do moral policing they have to start with themselves. Teach morals and ethics in schools, tell the children to differentiate rights from wrong - everything, and not just pick and choose. Corruption is wrong, abuse of power is wrong, taking what's not yours is wrong, cronyism is wrong, not doing your work while you are being salaried is wrong.

You have the authority to write and sign such letter BUT do you also have the authority to provide cover up for someone when our police investigation has indicated that this someone is a triad member. That would be an abuse of authority.

My condolences to the family of the victims. SPAD, JPJ, the police, transport companies, transport ministry, internal trade ministry and to certain extend the consumers were collectively responsible for the accident. Such accidents were repeated year after year and clearly whatever measures that are currently in place are not working.

- Bus fares should not be so cheap that everyone were made to cut corners
- Bus drivers should be well qualified, healthy, well disciplined, well rested and should be well paid
- The busses should be well maintained and properly inspected on 3 monthly basis, and inspectors should be criminally liable if they did not do their job properly
- AES and speed traps were wastes of public funds
- Police and JPJ should be on mobile patrol cars enforcing traffic regulations
- Enforcement officers caught asking for bribes, and motorists caught offering bribes should be subjected to mandatory jail terms
- Enforcement officers should get up to 50% of the summonses that they issue
- Summonses can be challenged in courts and the issuing officers would have to attend court hearing if the case is contested failing which the summonses with be void
- Vehicle inspection should not be monopolized by Puspakom
- Any qualified mechanic can get qualified as vehicle inspector but he would be criminally liable if vehicles bearing his inspection number were caught not meeting requirements

I am very sure if we HONESTLY want to solve any problem without any personal interest, the problems would be solved. We would not be able to totally prevent accidents but we can minimize them

More words would not mean anything without admission of liability and responsibility by Najib. Actions are needed.

Floods hit us every year and every year also the various ministries were "looking" at various pre-emptive solutions. Just wondering when are the ministries will stop looking and start taking actions. Where are the results?
