Part of the problem is that I have pretty much every surface of my mancave covered in models or terrain, so I have nowhere to actually paint when I do get some hobby time.

After a trip to bunnings to buy some bitz bins I've started breaking up all the sprues and spare bitz i have all over the place to save on space so once that's done I should be able to make a bit more progress on the models. As for painting/magnetizing i'll definitely finish off the TK's first, but I'm sure i'll have trouble resisting constructing some more of the VC/WoC models to at least get a playable 2400 pts together to break up the monotony of always playing TK.

I'm thinking about entering one of the raffles, haven't quite made up my mind yet.

For any of my fellow foreigners out there, I checked with the NOVA guys and they confirmed they will ship the prize internationally.

Banner of the World Dragon invalidates your comment about the book as a whole. Although I agree most of the book is quite well done, that thing is pants on head retarded.

As a Daemon player what they think about the prospect of seeing it on 50 white lions.

He's since backed up his atrocious effort of the Daemons book with 'unpopular' magic rules in 8th edition, and the HElf book although mostly quite reasonable contains the Banner of the World Dragon - and item that was so game breakingly poorly designed even the staunch no-comp crowds seem to want it banned from tournaments.

I remember a time when articles were for sharing information, thoughts or strategies not berating people for their opinions

I can't seem to locate part 1. Was naming this article part 2 just some genius plot to make me look through archives?

I have a few issues with this review.
You brush off Discs on lords due to being too risky, yet a lord on a disc is one of the hardest things in the game to kill.
You say Daemonic Mounts are basically a poor man's Juggernaught - they make Heros & Sorc lords T5 - that makes them better than the Jugger.
You mention that Palanquins are a good choice for Nurgle characters, but forget to mention the (significant) drawbacks; You can be sniped by cannons (meaning youre at least as squishy as Daemon Princes and the previously mentioned Disc Lords which at least get ward saves), Monstrous cavalry unit type means no 2+ look out sir - ever, fewer support attacks due to replacing models from the 2nd rank and you're stuck at infantry speed despite being mounted...

Being someone who doesn't play Hordes, I didn't know about these releases prior to reading this post but was interested in the pretty pictures as I have a mild interest in the game.

Perhaps that attitude isn't necessary, hm?
