And yet,it was crafted and executed so well nobody seemed to mind .Remember we are talking about the times this fandom wasn't so lenient towards girls shows.
And I have to disagree,Equestria Girls so far is as generic as it could get,it's a new low.Nothing can top it(I hope).I will hold to McCarthy's words and trust her to keep that one-shot contained and away from the show until the end of times.

It's true.
It's almost the same problem Shining Armor and Cadence have been suffering ever since their introduction.I find it unacceptable that the show staff are unable (or incapable?)to give them a couple of more little layers or quirks to their characters that the comic staff ended up making a micro of them because according to them,they were considered characters "no one seem to particularly care" .
The comic staff knows what they are talking about.Why the show staff can't see it?
