Breitbart.tv : ReasonTV: What We Saw at the Glenn Beck Rally in DC

If you watched or listened to The Restoring Honor Rally - you saw and heard the true spirit of America. You watched 300,000 people restore their own hope and honor for the future of this country, through a re-acquaintance with its founding principles. They did so with respect for our history, our heroes, our values and with the dignity that demonstrates the common cause of a truly exceptional nation. Millions more listened to the truth of the American story - found themselves yearning for their own place in its narrative - searching in earnest contemplation for the will and the courage to make a difference and to go '... once more into the breech' in the name of liberty. For it is a challenge that America has met before - a clarion call that America will once again answer with resounding conviction. For complacency and apathy have never been the foundations upon which the country has been built. Now is not the time to cast our lot with the status quo or to stroll down the path of Utopian Idealism. It is instead the time to embrace the challenge of tomorrow - to honor the principles that made this country great and to strengthen the virtues that will guide our children. It is an awakening that will demand much from America. It will ask us to confront the progressive idealism that invades much of our society. It will ask us to ‘say what you mean’ and to ‘do what you say’ - America has no patience for the minefield of ‘politically correct speech’ and even less for the double-talk of political expediency. It is an awakening that will measure our leaders by the virtue of their actions and the honor they demonstrate in the pursuit of public policy. It is an America that we have recognized from it’s inception - an America that stands tall, just and confident in the eyes of the world. For it is an America that is not afraid to be bold. An America that finds strength in its founding and one that finds comfort in its history. It is the story of a quaint Colonial backwater that stood strong - an upstart - that explored it’s vast frontiers and consolidated an untamed wilderness in a short 150 years to become a giant amongst nations. It is an America that believes in truth, the law of the land and the liberty to pursue one’s dreams. For it is an country that embraces the virtues of personal and fiscal responsibility - a concept that rewards the earnest application of ideas, skills and labour with the opportunity to build a brighter tomorrow and to provide our children with a secure future. It’s an America that we all know - an America that has always understood the simplicity of truth. We measure it by the handshake that seals a deal with a stranger - we find it in a nod of acknowledgment for a job well-done. We see it in the simple courtesy of watching out for one’s neighbors, and we find it in the comfortable presence of those who are as impassioned to a cause as ourselves. It is an America that we will find once more - for we know the story - we know the path. For it is up to us to blaze that trail again - to stand tall in our conviction for renewal - to once again forge our liberties in the crucible of doubt and to reclaim a birthright that both warms the heart and refreshes our spirit. For we have the people, the resources and the infrastructure upon which we can build a brighter tomorrow - we have the expertise and know-how to foster a national renewal of the Can-do spirit. Each of us must restore our own honor - and in finding ourselves, we will find America once again.

Breitbart.tv : New Documentary Charges Obama Stole Nomination From Hillary

Imagine... A "surprise" Win for Alvin Greene (D) in the SC Senate Election over well respected Republican candidate Jim DeMint. This of course not to be confused with Al Franken's (D-Minn) "magical" win over Norm Coleman (R) in 2008. There is a pattern here - and with the tactics, arrogance and "The Chicago Way" all in play - I truly fear for the integrity of the balloting process in the next two election cycles. I cannot help but feel that the last 4 election cycles have shown increasing levels of voter fraud, intimidation and corruption of the enumeration and balloting processes. Does anyone else fear the depths of the possible corruption of the Electoral Process this fall by the more radical and organized factions (SEIU, ACORN, etc.) of Team Obama? Someone had better start "ringin' the bell" - because after the fact will just be viewed as too little - too late!!

Big Government : In Just 2 Days, Jerry Brown Proved He Is Not Up to The Job

Jerry Brown pretty much just defined himself as true purveyor of propaganda. The dissembling we're seeing now is a tactic more reminiscent of Goebbels himself, not to mention the likes of Saul Alinsky or even Obama. The true radicals and adherents to the Progressive cause will applaud the use of the Alinsky tactic, but the majority of the electorate will just look at Jerry Brown and immediately discount most of what he says from this point forward to Election Day. The Democrats have to resort to the smear, because their positions on the issues cannot win the debate based on the merits. Show me a Democrat who doesn't go negative and I'll show you a candidate who still understands the concept of honour. - You know you have the high ground to yourself, when your opponent decides to rout around in the gutter. -

Big Hollywood : For Help With Gulf Oil Spill, Feds Look To...James Cameron

Just what does everyone expect from a President and an Administration that prides itself on its Academic credentials from such august bodies as Harvard and Columbia Universities - would anyone expect these pompous souls to have any practical experience in solving real world problems. Personally, I think they have been afraid to admit that they don't have the answers and were more than happy to muddle through the situation initially on the cache of the Secretary of Science and Noble Recipient - DR. Stephen Chu. But it is now apparent that this administration's cavalier approach as it's initial response, was a monumental mistake - one that will now define this Presidency. As the crisis has evolved we have witnessed an administration that is almost paralyzed by its inability control the situation. For the hard-knuckled politicos of the "Chicago Way" it must be hard to accept that there are no populist solutions to this crisis - other than stopping the flow of oil and protecting the coastline. I hope they realize that their usual tactic of playing the media for partisan advantage will not play at this point - they need to get down to business - spend whatever is necessary to reach the objectives and worry about billing BP at a later date. For a White House that is obsessed with controlling the message, I have to wonder who came up with the idea of enlisting the help of James Cameron. - Is this for real! - Is this the best we can do! - I mean, maybe we can get Kevin Costner as his second mate - I hear he has some ocean experience through his difficulties with Water-world. Maybe,... if it were possible, we could dredge up Robert Shaw in his classic role as "Quint" - he always took one for the team at the end. Please!... to solve this problem we need people with serious bona fides, and not some Hollywood hot-shot director to provide the populist optics that diverts attention from the task at hand. This Administration is already much too absorbed and manic about its production values. Just get the lead out and get the job done!!

Big Government : Must-Read of the Day: The New Yorker Profiles Andrew Breitbart

The philosophy of Marx + the tactics of Alinsky and Sorel + the populism of the Progressives = Obama Obama lectures us on the truth and then proceeds to dispense his own jaded view of reality using divisive rhetoric and the dissembling propaganda that would have made Joseph Goebbels proud. This is a man who loves the sound of himself; a man that depends on a soundbite per day to feed his incessant narcissism. His leadership style is long on rhetoric and short on action and I grow weary of his furled-brow lectures whenever anyone dares to counter his narrative with facts. I have never seen a President who seems to relish the opportunity to demonize whole sectors of our society - a man who constantly plays the partisan himself, and then proceeds to diminish everyone else for their advocacy. His inability to withstand criticism or even consider perspectives outside of his own, demonstrates the rigidity of his own ideology; the same ideology that always looks to cast blame elsewhere - always searching for partisan advantage, instead of accepting responsibility and moving forward decisively. The hypocrisy and political expediency that drives this administration is breath-taking and for the Press to stand still and stay silent is perhaps the greatest abdication of responsibility we have seen in America today second only to the President's pledge to uphold and protect The Constitution of The United States of America.

Breitbart.com : Divided party? It\'s not just GOP, but also Dems

In this administration's zeal to pass the most flawed and transparently corrupt piece of legislation in modern history, the Democratic leadership has failed to recognize the anger that the American electorate is manifesting at their arrogance and blatant disregard for the ‘Will of the People’. The Democratic leadership has crossed a threshold and now they own the resentment of a disenfranchised electorate. It is a watershed that was demonstrated at the polls in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts and it will become the legacy of the Democratic party for years to come.

Big Government : Harry Reid: Obama 'Light-Skinned' 'with No Negro Dialect'

The hypocrisy of the MSM is so blatantly obvious and yet the National Media remains confused as to why they are bleeding Market-share and readership. America is speaking volumes - it is picking its own winners and losers and the MSM and inside Washington crowd are oblivious to their own complicity in the trend.

Big Government : Tea Parties: The Biggest Mistake We Could Make in 2010

Who cares what the MSM thinks! The instructive thing here is to be provocative enough for them to become reactive. The heartland of America will see the true nature of their complicity in advancing the Left's agenda - it will be inherently obvious in the MSM's strident mischaracterization of the movement.

Big Government : Media Missing the Plot on 'Climate Gate': It's the Fraud, Stupid!

So what will be the fall-out from the leaked East Anglia CRU files? What happens when politically connected scientists blatantly manipulate data to buttress a flawed hypothesis: that increasing CO2 concentrations in our atmosphere drive increases in global temperatures - when in fact the inverse is true. Once the hoax has been exposed through their own research documents and communications, as expected the narrative now becomes an exercise in the dissembling of culpability by the principles, to be followed by the inevitable claims of victimhood. There should be no quarter spared in aggressively pursuing the perpetrators at every level in order to expose those who have participated in a conspiracy to enrich themselves through the manipulation of data and research. And with these leaked East Anglia CRU documents providing a basis for further investigation, it would appear that the data and research developed for the United Nations IPCC TAR and AR4 reports is hopelessly compromised. Imagine! - We are one step away from levying a tax on the emissions of CO2 worldwide. The EPA is on the verge of rendering an endangerment finding on a gas that is an essential building block to all plant life on the globe, based on what appears to be a manufactured crisis. Carbon Dioxide is a gas that is soluble in water, and one that forms the very base of the food chain in our oceans; it is a compound that each and every living mammal on the planet exhales as part of its very existence. And yet a group of scientists, who for purely self-serving and political reasons, embark on a crusade to manufacture evidence that CO2 is the hobgoblin of all life on the planet, when in fact, all life forms are inherently dependent on its existence. How many politicians have blindly signed onto invasive and misguided regulations and are now considering taxing CO2 emissions, in response to the Armageddon scenarios pushed by Special Interest and the Environmental Lobby based on the manufactured CRU research. The selective and purely partisan consideration demonstrated by editors of peer-reviewed journals, willfully rejecting dissenting opinion in favor of sensational headlines, and the banishment of objective experts and opinions to the scientific equivalent of Botany Bay has been unforgivable. What is the sum total of tax-payer funds on a global level committed to a fraudulent premise based on falsified data. Do the ends justify the means? - I’m sure there are those who believe so! But is this to become the philosophy of our scientific method. The virtue of scientific endeavor must remain paramount and therefore the entire community must be held to the highest of standards. There can be absolutely no compromise on the manipulation of data or the scientific method - and for those who breech the protocols and embark on the path of manufacturing results - justice must be swift and uncompromising. To do anything less than issue a ‘scarlet letter’ to those who would perpetrate fraud on a scale such as this would border on criminal itself. The integrity of the Scientific Process needs to be restored and the first step requires a purging of the ranks to excise the taint; followed by the aggressive prosecution of the principles so that examples of harsh sanctions and consequences are well documented for those who might contemplate embarking down a similar path.
