The idea of an omnipotent all-powerful deity who created our universe and watches our every action and though is just a myth, a silly story. That doesn't preclude the existence of other supernatural phenomenon that will someday become just "natural" as we learn about them through the scientific method. Just shooting the shit here, but maybe someday we'll find out about some funky energy signature that builds up over the course of our life and presents itself as an observable remnant of our life.

To be clear, I've never seen or heard of reliable/repeatable evidence of ghosts or afterlife so I don't actively "believe" they exist, but I find the notion less improbable than that of a sky daddy. So I guess I'm atheist about deities, but more "agnostic" about supernatural phenomenon.
