What influence are we having today in New Jersey? I would like to ask just this question. How are we as movement having an impact on were it counts; ELECTIONS? There are two candidates in New Jersey who are vying to decide who will be the closes thing to a Conservative running against the Democratic Incumbent. I would like to know if anyone in our movement organized in New Jersey to affect that race. Did we have a third party primary? Did we support the closest thing to a Conservative? If there was, what did you do and how did you do it? How successful do you think you were? What would you do differently? If now one did how would you in the future?

I always believe that knowledge is power. I would recommend this article to anyone who wants to improve their understanding of the Constitution. http://federalistblog.us/2006/08/busting_congress...
The commerce clause is the basis for just about every usurpation of power by the federal government.

Their were talking about a bill in the TX, Utah or Nevada, and one either ND SD or WY challenging the Federal governments unconstitutional encroachment on issues and powers reserved to the states by the constitution.

I've reviewed some of your post why are you so disliked here? You seem to have the standard Libertarian view on foreign policy. other then that who have you P&st off? Frank is the poster boy/girl for term limits. You in MA?

. I would not vote for some one whose last job was emptying trash cans into a trash truck. Not because I don’t respect their jobs or because I think they are less then me but because they do not have a history I can study and understand. I don’t know if they have the critical thinking skills needed to be our President. This is more evident in my home state of Mass. Barney Frank is not a millionaire and has shone he has no business being a Rep. but is still re-elected year after year. I think the only reason why we see mostly rich in the office is because working people don’t have the time or the income to commit their lives to public service. My aunt ran for school committee and won but it took a lot of time away from her family and work.

As to your point that only the rich can be elected President or be elected to Congress I agree and disagree with you. Anyone if they can get enough support can run for school committee or city/town council. After making an impact there they can move on to the state legislatures and again with success to the U.S. House and then to the Senate. If a elected official represents their constituents well the potential for moving up is always there. As for needing to be rich that is not necessarily true. You have to be well known by the nation to be elected president.
