Yep. With the availability of prepaid phones these days, anyone can get one. Then the sticker shock will be on them not the parent.

Teens don't "need" a cell phone. They only "need" one because their friends have one. If they driving, then they are old enough to pay for their own prepaid one.

admit it-you, you have you've (whatever form of you YOU wish to choose) have all had moments of weakness where you have thought the same thing in frustration. I have the guts to admit what this person said has crossed my mind several times and I've wanted to say it.

but even after coming back to the states, once the baby was healthy..in the first year or so of life, she didn't "think" to check to make sure she had proper documentation then, when it would be easier to prove?

can't believe you got a thumbs down for your comment. Now, maybe at the time she wasn't low income. I can buy that.

HOWEVER Why the hell would anyone be stupid enough to go on vacation to a foreign country while pregnant/ready to pop? I've never met a couple who wasn't ready to pop or more than 7 months along who hasn't picked out 3 or 4 names already. Like 2 if it's a boy, 2 if it's a girl (if they choose not to know) or 3 or 4 names if they already know what they are getting.

Seems to me if I had a child born in another country and I didn't report it to the embassy before going home, I'd have double checked with with an immigration lawyer and local Mexican embassy when I got home about what I needed to do.

and thats why I buy all my games used! :) I wait 6 months to a year (or longer) before I buy a game and only pay $25-30 bucks or less
