I don't know the names of the so called 'Blue Dogs' that are conservative, but I wish I did know, so I could 'Thank' them. However, Congressman Dennis Moore (D-KS) is definitely "NOT" one of them even though he calls himself a 'Blue Dog'. He has voted with Pelosi ever since she became 'Speaker of the House'. He is the "ONLY" Representative from Kansas that voted "YEA" for Cap'n Trade, when Kansas receives 70% of its 'Energy' from 'Coal'. Cap'n Trade will literally devestate Kansas and this Representative had the nerve to vote "YEA" and then send me a letter saying it would only cost the average family only $15 per month. Also, he is Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations of the House Financial Services Committee and wouldn't co-sponsor HR 1207, "Audit the Fed" Bill. Don't tell me about the 'Blue Dogs'. They see the anger of the 'People', thats what they really see.
The Democrats have put out an e-mail (I signed up for the Democratic Party e-mails, so I could see what they were saying) 5 facts about the anti-reform mobs. 1. These disruptions are being funded and organized by out-of-district special-interest groups and insurance companies. 2. People are scared because they are being fed frightening lies. 3. Their actions are getting more extreme. 4. Their goal is to disrupt and shut down legitimate conversation. 5. Republican leadership is irresponsibly cheering on the thuggish crowds. Don't underestimate Hillary. She'll be running again if Barack's numbers continue to fall and it appears that this is happening. I like Mitt Romney but I think Newt Gingrich has the experience and knows the ropes of Washington, but most important he is 'VIABLE'.

I saw the same thing. However, the letters that were sent to the Senators mainly read 'Quality, Affordable, Healthcare'. From this site, I understood it to mean that Barack Obama wanted everyone to write their Senators and say they were in 'FAVOR' of 'HIS' Healthcare Reform Bill. I hope 'People' understand that going through this site, that he and the Democrats will say that those that wrote in were, indeed, in 'FAVOR' of 'HIS' Healthcare Reform Bill.

Maybe seeing what the 'People' are saying may, hopefully, get some action going. He, also, happens to be the only "Democrat" from Kansas that voted "YEA" for Cap'n Trade. As you may have guessed, I'm from Kansas. Kansas receives 70% of its energy from 'Coal' so voting "YEA" for Cap'n Trade will devestate our State.

Thus far, 260 Congressmen have cosponsored HR 1207. What makes his refusal to cosponsor this bill, even worse, is his position as the Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigation - the very Congressional committee tasked with overseeing the Federal Reserve.
The Boston Globe reported that Congress tucked into the "Healthcare Reform Bill" a provision that would provide "Billions" for walking paths, streetlights, jungle gyms, and even farmers' markets. I hate to say it, but any plan devised by Senator Kennedy and Senator Dodd would be on my "Shit List". I think the Democrats, in fact, I would bet my last dollar, that Pelosi and her 'Colleagues' have been working on 'ALL' of these various 'Bills" ever since Hillary and Obama started their 'Campaigning'. Republicans have got to get their "ACT" together. I wrote Michael Steele and expressed my concern that while Hillary and Obama were duking it out, why wasn't the Republicans working on their "Healthcare Plan"? All McCain was saying that he would give every family $5,000 for "Healthcare" so they could buy their "Insurance". I don't want Government run Healthcare, but I don't mind subsidising to help pay "Insurance Premiums". I didn't sign on for a complicated, Government run, wasted program.
This "BILL" sucks. I talked with my Doctor and he said something has to be done about "Malpractice Lawsuit Insurance". The Republicans keep bringing it up (putting a 'Cap' on Malpractice Lawsuit Insurance), but the Democrats, particularly President Obama, turns a deaf ear. I lost a terrific OBGYN 40 yrs. ago because she couldn't afford the Malpractice Insurance. Forty years ago, she was paying $50,000/yr. I hate to see what Doctors have to pay now. Also, nothing has been said about "Illegal Immigrants". We have been paying their "Medical Bills" for some time. Will they be covered in this "Bill"? And will our Representatives have time to "Read the Bill" before they have to "Vote" on it? I say we e-mail our Representatives and urge that if they don't have time to read and discuss the "Bill", that they should refuse to "Vote", or walk out of the Whitehouse in a 'Demonstration'.
