Who's going to pay for it? Osborne stopped SSP being reclaimed so now it's dumped on companies again. All very well changing the rules but make it reclaimable again.

Sensible but I wish politicians would stop saying "The government loses £2.4 billion revenue a year" The government loses nothing because it's not their money, the correct thing to say would be that the government takes 2.4B less...

I want the threshold raised like I was promised. Aparently the same as 70% of others although you wouldn't guess it looking at the comments on here.

I work on the belief that any government will waste a huge percentage of the money they take off me so the less that is the better.

Well surely Boris should have taken that into account before he made the promise?

No they should study government expenditure, they spend way too much even excluding NHS and all the other important things

I think a number of changes need to be considered. 1) It should be easier to evict bad tenants and tenants who do not pay their rents. These are crimes and not victimless ones. 2) There shoudl be a bad tenant list, there needs to be consequences for trashing property, not paying rent etc. 3) Stop increasing the population year on year, it's no surprise there is a shortage of accomodation. 4) as above, build hostels for temporary accomodation rather than having to find apartments.

I keep hearing about contract NHS workers. Surely a simple "pay no more than 20% above normal rates" rule would sort this out? It's not as if there are loads of non NHS jobs?

60% of the population already on benefits. The target should be to halve this not to increase it. It should be a safety net not a lifestyle.
