Ok. I called it automatic instead of semi-automatic. Please excuse my mistake. I meant to say semi-automatic.

The point I was trying to make is that they must have only investigated for an hour or so before allowing the guy back on board. It seems like a pretty quick investigation to me considering the threat.

FYI Da_Coyote I'm not sure what makes you think I am anti gun. I have a CHL and dozens of handguns, rifles and shotguns. All locked in a gun safe away from children except the one I carry.

Wow. A fully operational automatic handgun with ammo on an aircraft, with a full tank of gas, leaving from a Rhode Island airport.

It was an obvious attempt to have it accessible while the aircraft is in flight. Scary.

What amazes me is that the man and child were allowed to continue.

How much time elapsed between the time they screened his baggage and the time they allowed him on board? That's how long the initial investigation lasted and in that short amount of time they determined he was no threat. I would sure like to hear more details, that sounds like a pretty quick initial investigation.

Both officers are more than qualified to be Washington County Sheriff Deputy's.

Washington County will probably send out a recruiter and make them an offer. Of course they will have to be much more corrupt and abusive if they want to be accepted by the current batch of thugs employed there.
