<description>My father had alzheimers.  The nursing home almost broke our family.  It cost about $200 a day for his treatment which can go on for years.  This is a physical ailment which can&amp;#039;t be cured.  At a certain point, you just can&amp;#039;t keep them at home anymore.  When they get violent, its just not safe for them or us.  Could the government help out with long term care. </description>
