Good, I'm glad the opposing team doesn't like it. I hope they feel uncomfortable

They need to score some runs. It would be a real shame to waste a solid performance by Fig. I mean, who wouldn't have signed for 6 IP 3 R from him?

that's such a lame argument, "start your own blog". That's not my job to start a blog. I have a full time job, and I work my ass of to try to do it right. This is Matt's FULL TIME JOB, but it often seems like it's something he does in his spare time. There are lots of other blogs out there that do a much better job of updates, posts, etc. They have teams of posters who are assigned different shifts for coverage. The people who run them actually take them seriously and run them like they are their businesses. That's what people are asking for.

I have no problem with the ads. this is Matt's business, so if that helps him make money, no problem. It would just be nice if the quality of the blog would increase along with Matt's revenue.

nobody said that matt has to write every post and man the blog 24-7. But it's is his job now, and he should act that way. He has a bunch of other bloggers, he can make sure there is always coverage to report on things when appropriate. The season has started, get with it. If it was too much work for him he shouldn't have picked a sport with a 162 game schedule.

Exactly. It's no longer an occasional error, it's pretty regular. When Matt makes mistakes he likes to hide behind the "I'm just a regular guy blogger" excuse, and he gets defensive. But what "regular guy blogger' gets the access, opportunity and paycheck from SNY and the Mets? Sorry Matt, but whether you want to admit it or not you are the big time when it comes to blogs, and it's time to behave accordingly. People turn to you for facts, and just because you don't consdider yourself a journalist you are one now. Step up.

100% in agreement. Besides the fact that plenty of people were working today out in the real world, even other blogs were being updated! This blog is very bad about coverage.

I don't know if it's "policemen", I think some fans don't find it enjoyable to constantly complain about the team. Personally, even though I can get extremely frustrated and angry from not only game to game but play to play, I still try to stay positive. So even though I'm annoyed that an awsome performance by Johan was wasted by Murphy's ass of a play, I don't necessarily want to read a bunch of comments about "no heart" or "this team sucks". I prefer to just stay positive and hope they win tomorrow. That's not to say anyone is right or wrong, but the more negative comments and sky is falling attititude, the less I feel like reading the comments. That, plus the lack of updates and the terrible format makes me not even want to come to this blog sometimes.

It's disappointing that such an awesome pitching duel was actually decided by a stupid error in LF. It's also disappointing that this blog continually drops the ball on posts. No pre-game, no post-game, nothing? Lame.
