I just watched the 'civilest of wars' special again, and I just wanted to say that I loved it. I hope Glenn keeps up this type of programming because it's educational and informative. That's something we always talk about here, and our founders felt the same, that it's imperative to educate people in order to maintain our country and freedom. This type of programming serves that purpose. Loved it, keep it up!
Does anyone feel like they are living in a required reading novel for high school English? I've known for some time how biased the media is, and corrupt our politicians are, but never had it been so glaring as has been shown in the last few days. Every time I hear someone in the media or our government say this was orchestrated by Fox or Republican lobbyists, I want to scream. I was involved in the planning of my area tea party (about 3000 strong) and the organizers were a working guy, some stay at home moms, and some Vets. Every time I hear this movement ridiculed, down played and completely distorted, I am so beyond disturbed. Had these people been around 230 some odd years ago, our history books would look a lot different, and we'd all still be singing 'God Bless the Queen' I've really come to look at this as a battle of good and evil now.
Let's keep this moving! I know another event will be planned, but let's make a difference in the mean time. Let's discuss some mass mailings or callings to congress. Let's pick a day to have a 'contact congress' tea party. We need to be uniform in what we do so it makes the unified statement we made on the 15th. Patriots, don't sit back with satisfaction now, this is only the beginning.
In the Glenn Beck newsletter there is a story about a planned march on Wall St. to protest 'greed' and the rich. Who wants to take the bet that the dozens of protesters (Acorn anybody?) will get more media coverage than the hundreds of thousands protesting on April 15th?

Anyone have tech help for me as to why I am having trouble posting? They disappear after awhile. I can click my name and find the posts, but I cannot find them anywhere on the board. And my post new comment box keeps an old message posted in it no matter how many times I take it out and post a new post.
Okay, I had something really weird where none of my posts would appear. What I said was that I was listening to the concessions that Obama made at the G20 and he signed on to the new oversight group giving Europe 19-1 voting rights to us, to regulate our businesses including, but not limited to pay regulation.

I discovered something new to me. Maybe some here have hear of this, but I've never heard of this before and frankly it shocked the heck out of me. Please google the Cloward-Priven strategy. It's pretty scary stuff.
I agree. Check the thumbs down, report if necessary, but do not engage. It's a waste of our time, and a thrill for them to get us going. If we skip right over their comments, they'll go away after awhile.
