By that logic then Cheerilee should be with Big Mac. Issue #9, Jetpack and Larry's Comics variants shared a scene for their covers, Big Mac on one, Cheerilee on the other, both dressed in ancient Greek/Roman garb.

But, as many have already pointed out, the comic books aren't canon. So until there's something solid in the show to support MarbleMac, CheeriMac still has the most evidence to support it.
