Nothing new here. Businesses have always had this power; private business owners can allow/dis-allow firearms, other tools/objects, and destructive/unlawful behavior, on their property/space. If you are asked to leave, on trespassing grounds, then you leave. Follow your proclivities, patronize who you will. Don't add to the drama; leave that to WCF.

At this point, I think it would require a judge to overturn the executive privilege exercised by the President. Executive privilege is not absolute (Marbury v. Madison, et al), and no person is above the law.

So, FunnyJunk allows users to post, and does not take down, unauthorized, original content from Matthew's site (TheOatmeal). Matthew lets it go because, frankly, who has the time to deal with thieving pinheads like this? FunnyJunk finally removes some (but not all) of his stuff. No apologies or money (as I'm sure they attracted some clicks for their adverts from HIS content they posted). THEN FunnyJunk decides, "Gor, me no likey the people our users robbed and me condoned... me sue!" Enter Charles Carreon (charlescarreon.com) and the lawsuit. Carreon (carrion? lol) wants to pull the plug on some very beneficial fundraising, as well. Excuse me, who was the original victim here? I believe it was TheOatmeal. Mr. Carreon, if *I* was your counsel, I would suggest removing yourself from this morass before a nobody site like FunnyJunk takes you down with it. Your past successes do not mean you'll win this one.

Thank you! Finally, someone that gets it. Incrementalism in reverse! First, do what it takes to get it out of the state's hands. Next, attack/reduce the "fees"(taxes) Then, eliminate the bogus 'square footage' requirement. Finally, eliminate the liquor control board altogether and make liquor licenses & enforcement just another part of the DOL (yeah, I know, a pipe dream in WA).

This is the problem when a system that's been under statist control for nearly 80 years gets extricated from their clutches. Ultimately, we will be better off with this system. Other issues (tax rates, fees) can be dealt with later if necessary. Freedom is not won overnight.
