Latino Review, The Latin Perspective on all movies and pop culture : News: New Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Film Clip! | Latino Review

I'm of the opinion that these kind of comments (referring to the author of the article) can be IMMEDIATELY ignored, due to the wholesale support this site gives to GI Joe. And unlike TF2, which I can bet these guys haven't seen, I HAVE seen GI Joe, and confirm that any support for that film is unfounded.

/Film : Question: How Has the PG-13 Rating Changed Over The Years (if at all)?

I remember Michael Bay saying that the 1st Transformers almost got an R rating, because the action was too intense. But instead of cutting anything, he just had Spielberg give the MPAA , and it passed intact. Something tells me there was a little donation pledging, and some string pulling...

I'm not a fan of Fox doing this to Predator, but if you're gonna do it- Neil Marshall is the guy. I'll be stoked if he gets the gig.

Nispel can compose a shot, but his movies are all style, no substance. Gans would have been my pick.

/Film : Tomb Raider Reboot To Be a Realistic Lara Croft Origin Story

I would love to see Scarlet JH in this. She's curve, but not too curvy for Lara (esp. after the training she's done for IM2). Just dye her hair brown, and give her some British accent lessons. Boom. As for this "new" take, I hope they don't lose the supernatural elements from the game. While the previous films SUCKED, and had too much supernatural shit (that never made sense), the games always introduced the monsters and shit fairly subtly (except the dinosaurs), until the final levels.

I agree with most of what was said about Terminator Sal. One thing- Marcus was not a T-700. He was created before any of the terminators were. The T-700 were actually cut from the film.

"but there seems to be enough gusto to guarantee at least a rollicking diversion while the reels are unspooling." Speaking of poorly written. Heh. :p

Gans is the one I've heard about, from a while ago, and he's the one that gets me most excited. I like both Marshall & McTeigue, and think they would do an awesome job, but my vote goes to Gans.
