Joe I was at the St. Louis Tea party and I would say there were easily 10K there. We definitely need a bigger venue for the next event!
How do we post pictures of the Tea Parties?
I propose a movement that could help eventually to wake people up. Adults taking a class at university and colleges, and respectfully challenging teachers in class. I went back to get another degree after being out of school for a good 20 yrs and I was blown away by what these teachers were getting away with and reading the crapola in the text books! Interestingly enough, when I asked questions, students began to really listen. They are being dumbed down. Not all, but many teachers are using their position as a platform to indoctrinate students with their values and ideology. It was amazing to me how the young men in our class were treated like second hand citizens! If that biblical princilples like, all were created in the image of God were being taught, even alongside the theory of evolution, there wouldn't be as much condescention and hatred.
It's the end of the world as we know it. I think that there should be protests (peaceful of course) every day in front of the White House. Every Day! I do agree with EmilyJean that hearts need to be changed for real change to occur. When you have an educational system that mocks God and shames those who believe in him they ujltimately are the ones that have indoctrinated the ranks of youngsters that voted for Obama. They're looking for hope and they're wanting someone to follow...it's the 'belonging' and 'being in'mentality. Because there is no moral base or foundation, they are going to follow who is tickling their ears to what they want to hear that makes them feeeeel good. What they don't realize is that they have played a huge part in the bondage that our country is now heading towards.
Dis-inviting Obama would be rude?! Killing millions of unborn babies as well as killing babies born alive is far beyond rude. Obama plays a good game of saying that he welcomes debate, but we see how he handles it during press conferences or town halls when someone asks him a hard question that goes against his world view, he doesn't answer. He does the typical Democrat in denial dance. Although with him, it's more like blah, blah, blah, blah.....Why doesn't he just stick his fingers in his ears and say la la la la la....because that's exactly how he acts.
Do you notice how all different kinds of entitys are making it out like they were the ones that initiated the Tea Partys around the states? On top of that, they are asking for contributions. I thought it all started with Rick Santelli showing his outrage at Obama and 'we the people' following suit, to do something to express our outrage. I don't have a problem with others wanting to get the word out but if they're painting a picture that it's their baby, I think that it could jeopardize the effectiveness because the media will get the story out that XYZ was behind it. Kind of like when you heard of all of these people that went to the AIG execs houses to protest. Big story and then you heard that possibly ACORN and the Connecticut Working Families party was behind it. Kind of looses the impact.
We really need to make the comparison between what is going on in California and what can potentially happen all over the US. The media isn't showing a whole lot about the tent communities in California. Some will show it but many others won't touch it because they know that it will raise questions. California is a precedent to seriously take a look at....with all of the special intrest crapola that has bankrupted that state. Why doesn't anyone ask the big UhO what his take is on the correlation? This administration doesn't want a real debate as we saw in the news conferance. Shoot, they can't answer their own questions much less real, hard questions from real people who aren't in Obama's pocket. Notice that he did the online town hall with his 'officials' choosing the questions that he will answer. They want to appear as if they are concerned because of media even presenting that people in his party are questioning his motivations to pass this ginormous budget at a time where our economic scales are tipping.
If you really thinkg about it, as sad and freaky as all this is...it has finally mobilized people who really want to take our country back. I just hope that the embers will become flames. When 9/11 mobilized people for a week, I'm thinking that our country is going to have to go to a place of more long term trial and despair for people to stay engaged in the fight. This president and his minions are all about basically everyone going to the government for everything. Take a look at Obama's followers and how they react to him. Do you think that some of the clueless who think that the Big O and his team are going to provide money and gas for them are going to have the patience when all the prices go up and their meagor food stamps and other subsidies won't cut it? All of the control is there for a reason. The crisis has been the green light for the Ogenda that has been in the wings for years.
