Well, here it is the 28th and nobody from HGTV took any video of me.. I guess I was not the lucky one! Oh well, there is always the DH2011!!! HGTV Pro promised full construction details in July, perhaps after tonights show, we will get a few more things to drool, er I mean dream on!!!!

WOW.... you leave for while and see what happens? Actually, I think it;s an awesome idea... it should cut down on the people with "multiple personality disorder? It won't directly stop negative comments, as any blogger can say something negative, but it should certainly cut it down a little...

You can buy bear repellant (pepper spray) It does work very well. Walking stick with a bell will keep them away too but wont help if you run into one... especially in the spring when they are VERY hungry.... Don't want anyone's morining hike to become something else's breakfast!!!!!!

From the sequence of pictures they tore down the leftmost building after they poured the main basement/lower level walls... and as thay finished the subfloor for the (main) upper level, they tore down the rest and graded the area. That's why I dont think it is the lower two homes on Spruce Peak road... those are pretty substantial in size, and I dont think they would tear down a large one... The uppermost home on Spruce peak appears to be newly constructed, and at least the exterior has been completed... it is tall enough to throw shadows in the satellite pictures, so it is much further along then DH2011... It may even be fully landscaped by now as I heard the satellite pics were taken in May 2010.

In Jack's comments on Picture #1 on the HGTVPro site, he said look for full coverage of the construction in July... I suspect that is when we will see floorplans, and all other great tidbits of information. Hmmmm... I didn't get ambushed either.... well, there is always DH2011!!!

Don't know if anyone posted something like this or not... I have been gone all weekend... I enjoyed the pictures of the garage going up this morning, and can't wait for more pictures!! Looking at the pictures of the construction site, you are looking over the resort, and at "Liftline" and "National" ski runs... they are due west of the north end of Spruce Peak road. there are 6 homesites that have been built-on looking at google earth... We know it has to be one of the sites that has a "cabin" on it because they razed it during construction. Since the view from google earth may have been taken at an earlier date than construction you can pick from one of the six sites shown .. I think we could rule out the three largest homes, and concentrate on the three smaller ones as the potential homesite.
