Sorry for taking so long to reply. What with new years & the clean up (not just cups & plates, humans too) it's been a bit of a ride. Anyhow, I have been researching monkey jokes and found that they are either a) for kids or b) too sexually oriented for me to send to a woman I hardly know. I do find your commentary interesting & intelligent (not to mention grammatical, a rarity on the internet). Actually yes. And I love the city despite it's problems. In fact, I've written a piano sonata, "Detroit Rhapsody", that I'll be recording this year. Detroit has a great new mayor, Dave Bing - basketball great with the Detroit Pistons who went on to found Bing Steel. Driven, dedicated and practical with no future political ambitions. A black gentleman whose success was based on talent, not racial stuff. You should look him up.

BOYCOTT CITGO. That is something that any American citizen can do. CITGO is the marketing arm of Venezualan gasoline in the United States. Don't buy it! Even if Washington can't figure out what to do about Chavez, we can simply buy our gas somewhere else.
