All this talk about school books and the history that is taught or not taught seems unnecessary when one asks a young adult very simple and basic questions about math, history, geography. How could a high school graduate be so obtuse? Do schools even diagram sentences anymore? The spinning of my mind goes on to what does this all mean for this nation. There is such a juxtapostion of events and secular teachings and teachers that the future of the newspaper will be as anti-climatic as the rise and fall of the eight -track. Remember the Beatles?
