Cry me a river, Orphie. No doubt what I posted wasn't any worse than anything you likely posted in 2004 when Bush was up for reelection.

I love your handle. Did you have to pay for your presidential knee pads or does Media Matters lend them to you as a paid poster?

Watching this narcisist eat crow on election night will be soooooo satisfying. And I hope to God that Moochelle is standing right next to him when they both realize it's over. Her reaction will be priceless.

Republicans are conservatives in the United States? When did that happen? Most Republicans in my country are go-along-to-get-along, reach across the isle, RINO ASSHATS!!!

Luckily the United States has the 5th Amendment to protect you from that.

Glitter bomb? Seriously? Perhaps it's a a post-closeted Democrat "expressing" himself. How is it that the fringe-Left can't express themselves without raining "something" on the candidate? Do "rich" Republicans need to donate liberals a vocabulary -- along with the ability to hold up a sign????

This is why I refuse to teach my dogs and cats to read -- I just know it'll give 'em ideas.

First, thank you for your service... however:

I think you're missing the bigger point here, Rod. It's okay to ask yourself if the cause in which you're fighting is right or just, but you're not allowed to openly question the powers-that-be. It erodes your credibility within your unit and diminishes your capacity to lead. You volunteered to join the military, remember? You weren't drafted.

It's really simply:

If asked to do something you believe violates your conscience, you basically have these simple choices:

1) Salute smartly, and say "Yes, sir.
2) Retire if eligible.
3) Opt out of reenlisting when your time is up.
4) Refuse the deployment, and risk governmental prosecution.

You see, when you joined the military, there was more to it than a (fairly) secure government job with educational benefits and 30 days paid leave per year.

(From a 23-year veteran that was in Desert Shield/Storm, Southern Watch, Rwanda, Bosnia, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom/New Dawn).

Not hate us, but envy us would be a more truthful statement.
