Gay people have the same right as anyone. A man may marry a woman and a woman may marry a man. They already have equal rights unless you ignore 200+ years of precedent. Your argumenht is a figment of your imagination - you made it up.

Same -sex marriage is still illegal in Iowa as the legislature has not passed any regulations to implement it. The court has no leagl standing to create policy.

There is no equal right anywhere in the Iowa Constitution for same sex marriage except a political one. It's like Roe V Wade there is no right to privacy in the US Constitution, they made it up. Even the judge who wrote that opinion later admitted that.

Just because a handful of judges took it upon them-selves to create law doesn't make it legal. Same sex marriage was illegal for 200+ years with the same reading of both State and US Constitution. No amendments have been passed to create precedent or legal standing fo the idea. Under the foundation of our legal system then it has no standing. Its creation is judicial activism.

She couldn't possibily be a worse President than the one your Party saddles us within 2008. She at least knows what is a budget, how to make a nomination and how to make a decision. The current occupant doesn't have a clue.

There are no legal grounds to define same-sex marriage except through the adoption of an amendent to the Constitution.

The ruling richie is a classic example of twisting precedent and making up things that are neither in the Iowa or the US Constitution. It simply creates a right out of thin air.

More name calling with accusation you can't back up with evidence dems. Your Party is the one creating a government that wants to control what we eat, what we do, and now what doctor we see. Your Party nominates lib judges that re-write what is in the Constitution and interpret it to mean what ever they wish. Libs are the party of utopianphobia.
