Re-reading this article and am appreciating the whole ton of yes it contains.

Finn is an amazing character and subversion of the reluctant hero trope. He's brilliantly nuanced and interesting in a way that most actual token characters aren't.

That's a damn good question. I would buy so many more bespoke suits than I currently have. I would still be inordinately arrogant, I would also still drink way more than is good for me. I would join a gym to balance this out, though. And a personal trainer. I would get my bum knee sorted for once and for all.
I would spend the winter in Costa Rica, because it seems like a great place to be rich in. Somewhere like Rekeyuvak seems like it'd suck no matter how much money you had.

I thought Rey was a token at first, but if you look at her motivation, not so much. She does the token thing of beating up the male lead but actually, she has a damn good reason and when she demands he, 'stop holding her hand ' it's also completely reasonable. She doesn't know this guy from Adam and thought he was a thief *at best* mere moments before. She hits all the tropes, yes. But she's totally justified in her actions.
