I run a blog on the same topic (though while it's mainly metal, there is also soft rock) http://bronyrockspotlight.tumblr.com/ , so maybe I can do something with you.

Your explanation is the best of the ones here, but I've still got two corrections:

1. If she is autistic, she might be mild, but she actually comes across as somewhat severe for aspergers. As I mentioned before, I work with autistic teenagers. These children are severe enough they it was determined they needed intervention, but are mild enough that they can be taught verbally in a group setting. Maud comes across as less expressive and is more single-minded than the majority of the children there, which would suggest she is more severe. I'm also in an support group for autistic adults, and the same applies.

2. While OCD is often comorbid with autism, autistic special interests don't resemble actual OCD at all, just what people on the internet think OCD is.

It has nothing to with opinion, the fact is analyzing social situations without feeling anything has nothing to do with autism, in fact that's like the opposite of autism. Autism makes it harder to analyse social situations, it doesn't make it so people don't feel emotion.

"She precedes that sentence by pointing out exactly what was going on socially, proving that she's not autistic."

No it does not. Being autistic doesn't mean you can't ever have any social insight. Yes, being autistic makes it harder to evaluate social situations, but it's not an all-or-nothing impossibility. In context it would be very easy for most adults with autism who are intelligent as she is to make that deduction because other ponies specifically pointed out her lack of expression right before, by this point in time she would have learned that her expression is atypical. She shows a lack of social insight on numerous other occasions in the episode (eg. not realizing she is boring Twilight with her poems, taking things literally, ect), so it doesn't really mean anything that she got it right once.

I work with teenagers with autism, and I'm wondering how the fucking hell you came to the conclusion she definitely doesn't.

It's good that you aren't racist, but that isn't really relevant to the unique threat black males face from the police.

Going to be that guy and point out this isn't a remix album, it's a cover album. These are all covers, not remixes. Anyway, great songs, love them all. Very indie.

"One kid in my class still tries to threaten to "wring the neck of every Brony" and after I looked at him with my Brony shirt and said "I'm right here, bring it" He still ain't do shit," lol, what a tool that guy is.
