Gamergeddon : Chat amongst yourselves

I will be playing the Halo Reach beta later today and maybe Battlefield Bad Company 2 with some friends until they get Reach on Monday. I also want to spend some more time on Puzzle Chronicles as the story was getting to be quite interesting where I left off earlier this week. I should also try and spend some time on a indie game review as I haven't had a chance to write one this week. Also I need to catch up on TV shows, got Fringe, Flash Forward and V to watch. And a new show called Happy Town which a mate recommended to check out. Fortunately Monday is a holiday in UK so I have an extra day to do it all in :)

Spotting is one of the most important parts of the game, I really hate it when others on the team do not do it. But it does mean more spotter score for me :)

Gamergeddon : Indie Games Round Up 16th April

The ones Channel 4 gave away last year for their 3D shows wont work as they are the wrong colour. I used the red/blue ones that I got with Final Destination 3D DVD if that is any help. You can get the paper ones on ebay for around £1 or spend a few quid extra and get plastic frames. You may want to check out Pinky vs Blocks as it has a kind of Tetris style gameplay mixed with a platform game.

What I will do is a weekly round up with any news. If I get a lot of news before the usual round up day, or something that cant wait, I will post before. I also want to help promote other sites by mentioning their content as I was doing previously in some of the News Bytes. I think that will become a different feature so I can mention things like other sites, reviews, interviews, articles, compos etc.

Gamergeddon : XBLA Wednesday: Final Fight Double Impact

How on earth did you manage to get a code for the game, they are like hens teeth. I played the demo yesterday and reminds me of lunchtimes in the chippy near our school :) One thing that did annoy me, in particular on Magic Sword, was the achievement tracker thingy kept displaying in the game area, there are two side columns why not stick it up there???? If it was just Final Fight I am not sure if its worth 800 points but with Magic Sword it is worth it, both great games and together are good value.

Gamergeddon : Code competition winners

Yeah I think the rules will change to something along those lines. The point of the compo is get people posting on the comments but as you said it can inadvertently end up the most regular posters winning every time. I will get my thinking cap on before the next compo to make it more fair for everyone but also promote posting comments on the site and not just one to get a compo entry.

Gamergeddon : Xstronauta code compo

We did get robbed on the goal, to me it looked like James ran into the spurs player so it shouldnt have been a foul. Also the penalty decision was poor judgement. Shit happens though, it could have easily happened against portsmouth and spurs won and I would have said tough luck :) Hopefully spurs get 4th place but the next few games make it unlikely for us.

That is fair enough, 60 quid is a joke for delivery. You can hire a van for a couple of hours and deliver it yourself for less! EDIT: While I am posting comments - Anyone want to do my garden before it turns into a jungle like last year :)

I will be spending my Sunday by making a start on the Indie Games Round Up and reviewing an Indie Game. I will be watching Spurs (hopefully) beat Portsmouth and make it to the final which is against Chelsea. You should also hope Spurs win because it means I will run a big compo on the FA Cup Final day :)

i didnt even download the demo. I think it went under the radar for many people as the release and problems with the MW2 map pack overshadowed it. major nelsons xbl figures next week should confirm this.

Cool, hopefully it does as I might do that myself if it works. Worst case scenario is you could always remove the memory stick from the 360 when you are not using it, that should almost definitely speed things up.

Gamergeddon : April XBLA Inventory Blowout

Gamergeddon : Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack

I have been playing bad company 2 most of this evening. The main thing I liked is how lag free the games are, not one problem in 4 hours, no lag or finding new host etc like you get in most MW2 games. I am glad I went with BC2 and not the MW2 map pack because right now I would be complaining about these things :)
