Big Government : Media Matters Attacks Beck - Ignores Progressive Roots Of The Klan And Holocaust

Sorry David I don't understand. Do you want the government to ban abortion or do you accept Roe v. Wade as a reasonable compromise and rely on the pro-life groups to change the heart and minds of women? If you choose the former, then you are for big government. I feel very sad for the deaths of unborn babies but I think a government that can tell anyone what to do with their bodies is dangerous to everyone. What do you think?

Does anyone else see a conflict between a limited government and the abortion issue? I know it all comes down to to idea of when does a person exists per Roe v. Wade but how can government justify limiting a woman's right to control what is growing inside her body and still remain limited. The government should stay out of our bedrooms as well as out of our pockets. The anti-abortion groups should use education to end abortion not governmental intervention. I fear that if the anti-abortion people hijack the tea party movement it will become a statist institution just like the GOP.
