Big Government : Is This Any Way To Pick A President? Better Than Any Other!

I'm an Ohio native. I can tell you that having a liberal Republican governor and a Republican legislature is the worst of all worlds. Remember: With Democrats you know up front that they're gonna screw you. With Republicans you have false hope that they won't screw you - and then they do. http://werescrewed08.com/

I hate to tell you this...nah, I don't. McCain would have been WORSE than Obie. Romney is just like McCain. I'd rather see Obie spend 4 years battling a conservative Republican legislature. Never accept the choices the MSM hand you. They'll always be bad. Now, which candidate has been ignored and then ridiculed by the MSM?

Big Government : Rush Limbaugh: 'Ron Paul Kills the Conservative Vote'

Ditto for Gingrich and Mark Levin. All these guys need to remember that the constitution defines the responsibilities and powers of the president. Not the president himself. We'll never get a handle on the reckless course of this government if we don't elect statesmen who recognize that.

Big Government : Ron Paul Puts the Left on the Defensive on Economic Issues

Answer: He threatens the old boys' power base. Just as the above article says. We can continue down the road we've been on. But hoping for "change" or any lasting improvement while doing the same old things over and over is insanity. As for all those quaking in their slippers that his foreign policy is wrong...Just look at all the military adventures we've had since the end of WWII. You can count on 1 finger the number of victories. Counting the dead and wounded will take a bit longer. And has anyone noticed we don't declare war anymore? There may be a correlation. Throw up any candidate you want and I, or someone more articulate, will give you a list of fatal flaws that can be used against them. But only one has pledged to reform government in the name of liberty. And I believe he'll do it.

Big Peace : There's Radical, and Then There's Ron Paul's Foreign Policy

If Gingrich gets it, I won't vote. He's too much of a statist. Too similar to Obama. If Romney gets it, I won't vote. He's the establishment candidate. He's there because, like McCain, it's his turn. I know what you get when you have a liberal Republican in the executive office. The same thing happened in Ihio when Bob Taft was governor. Herman Cain's out. Santorum and Bachmann are bringing up the rear. Huntsman. Another liberal. Who's left? The only one facing the reality that we're broke. And oh by the way. Israel is only our ally because it's the popular line. It's up to the whim of whoever is the president. If we were truly allies, we'd be bound by a treaty. Which we aren't. Why is that? And Ron Paul would recognize such a treaty because he's a constitutionalist. Don't demand that a president support and defend the constitution and then expect him to do things not authorized by it.

Fortunately, we won't have long to wait to see if his words are true or false. We're out of Iraq. Innocent people are getting bombed. Our foreign policy seems to be repeating itself. Honestly, if Iraq turns back to chaos & tyranny, just how wrong is he?

Breitbart.com : Republicans bail on budget talks, blame Democrats

Can anyone explain why the House of Representatives find it necessary to negotiate with the Executive? What good could possibly come of it? The great mistake they, the legislators, are making is that they have bought in to omnibus budget writing. They should be sending budget bills to the president one department at a time. If he vetoes a bill, the department gets no funding until a new bill is passed or the veto over-ridden. Those departments that aren't necessary could be defunded simply through lack of action on their funding. Why does it have to be so difficult? And why is anyone talking to Biden???

The fact is we've had a "war on drugs" in this country for nearly 50 years. If you travel in the right circles, you can get anything you want. What better way to define failure. So now cops can use forfeiture laws to shake down dealers OUTSIDE their jurisdictions. You can throw around that "progressive" junk all you want. But try getting back to basics. Laws are supposed to punish behavior that harms innocent people. It's progressives who think the laws should be what they say they should be.

Selling drugs is supposed to be ILLEGAL! These reverse stings are criminal acts perpetrated by men with badges who can KILL YOU if the mood strikes them. Hooray for the war on drugs! Now, even the cops are dealers and some peoples' children think that's ok.

The Republicans have succeeded in making their entire national party irrelevant. Do you hear me Mr Steele? Irrelevant! What I think will be the biggest way to convince the national GOP that they need to make big changes, and soon, will be for a nationwide movement to replace the House of Representatives with unaffiliated new blood. A successful ousting of incumbents and GOP candidates will serve to open their eyes. The Republicans absolutely MUST fundamentally change if they expect the TEA partiers to support them in 2012. Truth be told, the GOP under Bush was not essentially different from the GD'd Dems under the current occupant of the Oval Office. My favorite example is the prescription drug giveaway. What the hell were they thinking???? So the Repubs can kiss my butt. I'm pressing on with GOOOH. It's the best thing to come along in my 54 years. I think everyone who's disillusioned with the Repubs should seriously consider putting sincere citizen representatives in the House in 2010. Then the GOP can come to US & show how sincere they really are. THEN we can pick a leader. Go to http://goooh.com to learn more.
