Have you heard... there is a 1st General Assembly being formed. New group in the Members Community!

The coalition IS the members that make up its membership... perhaps this can be better understood if you took a sneak peak at the member-only online community at: <a href="http://www.TheNational912Coalition.net" target="_blank">http://www.TheNational912Coalition.net

See those 3,300 individuals online that have joined? THEY are the coalition.

So are the other 12,000 or so who have become coalition members but have not yet joined the online community. They have no "leader", they are guided by principles and values.

What they do is not dictated beyond the general premise of the coalition... which is to Support Individuals and Groups Looking To Restore Constitutional Principles and Values to Government.

If an individual or groups activities peacefully support that premise they can become empowered through association by becoming part of the coalition.

While groups and other free associations within the coalition will naturally form... they will have their own "leaders" that rise from the ranks.

So you need to stop thinking in terms of "groups" but rather understand that the "movement" is organic and must be allowed to form, grow, and evolve naturally.

It took a while for me to "get it" but now that I do I feel that this is the only effective way to help empowering the movement without trying to "manage" it under the dictates of a rigidly defined group.

It would appear that many do not yet understand the definition or purpose of a coalition... everyone is stuck in this "group" mentality and seem to have challenges grasping the difference.

But there is a big difference...

Another website? Why not get everyone to join a coalition/group/website that already exist?

One that is already has a website already starting to create state and local 912 coalition chapters?

One that has over 830 912er join their online membership community in the last 7 days alone and over 3,000 in the last month?

One that is already creating "citizen lobbying groups" for over 2 dozen different issues that those supporting this movement indicated were important to them...

A 912 coalition that already had over 800 members declare their interest to Run for Office...
A 912 coalition that already had over 10000 members declare their intent to Support 912 Candidates...
A 912 coalition that already had over 1200 members declare their interest to Become 912 Lobbyist...
A 912 coalition that already had over 1250 members declare their desire to Host Local 912 Meetings...
A 912 coalition that already had over 8000 members declare their support to help Change Public Education...
A 912 coalition that already had over 12500 members declare their interest to Fight for Term Limits...
A 912 coalition that already had over 13000 members ready to fight to Stop Acorn Funding...

The list goes on... and you want to start yet another group/website?

Please note that the numbers above are for actual individuals who completed a full application including names, addresses, telephone number etc... not just those who made-up a cute online name and provided just an email... which is what most "groups" are there consist of. The 912 Coalition is made up of real people who have gone on record to take action and support this movement... Wake Up People.

When will this frenzy concerning the "need" for a new group website end?

The National 912 Coalition has been doing what everyone on this forum says need to be done for over a month now... yet everyone here is still running around in circles. Why?

It appears that those hosting this forum and webpage are afraid to stand up and identify the sites that are actually taken action and instead have old links to a meet-up website that does not even show any new events... a website link that goes to a website that has had no real activity since March 13th!!

Why even have that link here anymore... that website/group is dead in the water and only refers individuals back to this site... and the endless circle continues.

Instead of identifying real websites and groups like The National 912 Coalition that are actually building the citizen lobbyist that the 912 project proclaimed as their goal they let visitors to this site go around in circles talking about the need for a new group.

Do those hosting this forum and page really want this movement to move forward or do they want to keep the attention on this web page where nothing "real" is getting done. We understand that they must be extremely hesitant to "endorse" or "proclaim" any group as an "official" group.. that is a given. But they should at least direct individuals looking for VIABLE groups to a few that actually exist instead of standing back and watching everyone run around in circle.

Will this post be delete? Will visitors to this forum be able to find this post tomorrow? Or will they let the chaos continue afraid to allow viable groups independent of their control actual flourish...

Please visit The National 912 "Coalition" website, since it is unclear whether this forum allows for urls of specific 912 groups to stay posted on this forum please google "the 912 coalition" and you will find them.

Stop the madness... stop calling for something that already exist... start actually putting the 912 Project into Action. Join the 912 Coalition Today.

I am fairly new to this site also... although I have been supporting www.the912coalition.org for several weeks now.

For those that have not seen or heard of them they have had over 15,000 members join in the last 30-35 days alone... even though they have not been promoted much here. In fact I think I have been the only one on this forum to even mention them by name.

Their growth is coming from within the coalition itself with members building their own groups by inviting others to join - it really is the 912 project in action!

They also have a very active group of 912ers participating in their member-only community... there are over 3100 of them online right now forming local groups and chapters across the country! Over 835 have joined the online community in the last 7 days alone... which from what I can tell makes them one of the fastest growing "action oriented" 912 groups around.

What I like most is that they are not "just another groups"... but rather are set-up as a coalition, They direct their members to join existing groups that are already in place locally and help those wanting to start their own local chapters do so be helping them get set-up and then referring members to them!

So if you have a small group and want more members you should consider joining the coalition. If you are an individual with a local 912 chapter or group you should consider joining so you can locate an existing group around you. If you want to become a leader and start your own local group... well this is the only place I found that will let you do that too.

You can learn more about the coalition at www.the912coalition.org or take a sneak peak at their member-only community at www.thenational912coalition.net.... if you are looking for the "action" this is where you will find it!

The National 912 Coalition had 565 individuals in March and another 307 in April indicate on their membership application that they are interested in running for office. So there is another 872 individuals who joined the 912 movement that showed an interest in running for office using The 28 Principles of Liberty as their platform.

In case readers here do not know "The 28 Principles of Liberty" were those shared by our Founding Fathers and identified in the 5000 year leap book - Glenn used these principles to come up with his 9 Principles and 12 Values to correspond with the 912 Project name. You can read the principles and some Founding Father comments here: http://The28PrinciplesofLiberty.org

Of course how many are serious or viable only time will tell but the 912 Coalition is going to encourage as many of these members as they can to at least get involved at the local community politic level. City Councils, School Boards, Mayor, etc. It all starts at the community level!

Over this same time period there were 8495 members who indicated on their application that they wish to support a 912 Coalition candidate... whether this means financially or through grass roots support is something only time will tell. But there is no doubt that there will be individual running for office and supporting candidates that support the principles and values of 912ers in the months ahead.

The 912 Coalition has set up a Group in their member-only community where those interested in running and/or supporting a candidate can start planning for the next election cycle!

If you are interested in running or supporting a candidate perhaps you should consider joining The National 912 Coalition at: http://TheNational912Coalition.Org

They seem to have the momentum in attracting candidates and supporters.

After reviewing many of the 912 related websites the one that seem to have the most going for it is The National 912 Coalition at http://TheNational912Coalition.com

Their coalition concept allows for more member input than the others in the "direction" of the movement through their "shared principles and values" concept of organizing. This allows members from various groups to join forces at different times to achieve different shared goals. They really are forming a "citizen lobbying group" but instead of trying to form one group their concept allows for the formation of as many groups within the coalition as there are issues that the members wish to take action on!

It is the 912 Project in Action. Not just another "forum"

From what I learned there are over 17,000 members who joined in the last 30 days alone... with over 2900 of them already participating in their online community which just opened up a couple weeks ago. It is certainly the fastest growing group and looks destined to become the largest independent 912 related organization.

I have seen other "national 912" groups mentioned here on this site but from what I can tell most of them are just starting out and only have a handful of members... and their structure does not allow for the flexibility I believe the 912 "movement" requires to grow and expand.

If you are still looking for a "action oriented" group this would certainly be one to consider. You can learn more at http://thenational912coalition.org

I've already joined and hope to see you there!

Have you seen The 912 Coalition website? They are helping individuals establish "citizen lobbying groups" by allowing individuals to join up with existing groups and form their own. On the application you get to indicate what issues are most important to you... then when there is "action" that can be taken or information that needs to be shared concerning that issue all those who indicated an interest in that topic are alerted!

There is no "pre-determined" agenda... here is a quote from their website

"While there have been many groups that have formed as a result of the 912 Project, no single group or individual will ever be able achieve the multitude of goals and objectives the "movement" has come to represent.

"Nationalizing" the movement or trying to assign a single group the task of representing those involved, while a noble goal, will ultimately fail. The movement is too big.

If you try to "define" the movement it will only disenfranchise a large portion of it who disagree with your definition... it is because of the nature of the movement it must be allowed to remain organic.

New groups must be allowed to form and existing groups need to be supported for continued growth, groups must be able to work together to achieve more faster, it is time for a coalition..."

Looks like they are copying The 912 Coalition at http://the912coalition.org except this new group only has a handful of members and from what I can tell are just getting started.

I think it is best to support the established websites instead of starting yet another group.
