You raise a good point. Maybe the distinction is a debut that actually made it onto a chart, since none of the earlier singles charted as you mention. Either way, you make a fair observation.
Voting for GAC's Top 20 is not based solely on IP address, we have other layer of security. We have tested these proxy's you mention and they either break the page when you try to vote or disable the Flash and cause other errors. We truly do our best to monitor voting and keep things even for everyone.

Have to jump in here and correct you Ben. Carrie's picture has been up the whole time and always linked to her photo gallery. We certainly welcome feedback on errors or mistakes but please don't misrepresent our efforts or intentions.
