We have friends w/ a home in Seaside (near Destin). It is not uncommon to have the algae in Destin this time of year. I have heard it has something to do with fertilizer that flows down the Mississippi. I don't know if that is true, but I do know that the algae, though not always there, is also not that unusual for this time of year. My friend who was down there last week verified the algae, but they did not have oily sheen on their skin from swimming there. She did say that west of there had reportedly seen "tar balls" however.

I find it comical how many libertarians pride themselves on Constitutional values (which are, BTW, rooted in the Declaration of Independence, thus the reference at the end of the Constitution regarding "the twelfth" meaning 12 years since the Declaration) which are first and foremost LIFE. Without life, there can be no liberty or property (pursuit of happiness), and yet they play fast and loose with the issue of LIFE. Only the Spirit of God changing the heart of man will save this country. God, have mercy!

Good for you! Yes, true learning has always come from individual effort, not spoon feeding. I got my real education when I began home schooling. You know what? Most homeschooled children also desire to homeschool their children. This is going to become a problem to "the system" at some point. I pray that Americans will always have the freedom to homeschool without regulation. It's working well. Don't "fix" it.

I saw an interview with her on americasright.com. I was a little confused with her answers regarding the Tea Partiers. But anything would be better than Hank. IMPORTANT: Make sure you go to every protest armed with video cameras. If you catch someone yelling a racial epithet or otherwise thuggish behavior, call them out. Try to find out who they are. Follow them to their car and get their tag number. Odds are that this will be an infiltrator and we need to produce the evidence. Also, I find it odd that bricks were hurled into regional congressional offices in multiple states. What are the odds that the exact same tactic would be used at the same time if different parts of the country. And again, where is security camera evidence routing these people out? I'm guessing if there is any video evidence, the perpetrator donned a purple shirt!!! And we will never get to see it.
