I drive to Davenport a couple times a week and can't believe how dangerous it is. A couple ideas: 1. Trucks that have governors set below the speed limit should NOT be allowed in the left lane. It jams up traffic when one of these clowns makes a 59 mph pa/ss around another thats going 58. Not my fault that your boss is cheap, the speed limit is still 70. 2. Road construction should be done around the clock and only close lanes that are ACTUALLY being worked on. I see mile long sections of road closed all the time and not one orange shirted moron in sight. Probably just an excuse to double the speeding fines for the state patrol. 3. Once you turn 65, yearly driving exams. If you have slow reflexes you shouldn't be out there.
