Hopefully the rest of PA parents will remember this when elections come around and vote in some new school board members that have childrens' interest at heart. My wife teaches in our school district, I am in law enforcement, and I have two daughters. Take a guess what would happen if someone assaulted my child. If you reread my comment, I am simply stating that with kids so eager to video tape and share everything, I find it curious that the actual assault apparently didn't get recorded (according to the above story).

The police were talking among themselves. Ooops that it was recorded but give me a break. There's not one person out there that's made smart@ss comments about someone. Go through random KOMO news comments and you'll find sarcastic comments to all sorts of people (politicians, athletes, criminals, and the police). Making jokes and comments like this happens all the time and is a form of dealing with stressful situations for LEO and other emergency workers. Firefighters and ER medical staff do this too, although they are not recorded or under scrutiny like LEO. Get over it.

Actually they only need a BA. They get the masters for specialty positions or to increase their pay. Their payscale is based on years worked and education degree attained.
