As a manager, it becomes quite hard sometimes. So I have to tamp that stupid shit down, and let everyone know it's a level field. That's where it gets hard. Do I talk to lady engineer and say "yes, they're dicks sometimes"? I shouldn't have to do that. Thankfully, I've not had to do that yet. Being in charge of people with the capability of being douchemonkeys isn't easy. My best engineer is of the ladycave persuasion.
