I totally agree with you about how not-knowing-how-these-people-really-were makes parts of this episode hard to watch. I love almost everything about this one, and was practically cackling with glee when I watched it, but the tension between show!Jared and show!Jenson made me feel really uncomfortable because I didn't know if they were really like that, and I got the impression that they actually were; there had to be something there for them to parody, right?
But on that note, I did know just how big of a cutie Misha Collins is via a friend of mine who goes absolutely nuts whenever he is mentioned. Also note that I totally agree with her enthusiasm for this man. Bless him.
