If you want network security for your home eliminate wireless or as you put it put it in WPA2, enforce mac filtering, hardcode IP's and disable DHCP for unknown devices, and even a cert if you can make it work. basically you want to make it such a PITA to use that someone who shouldn't be there has to really want to get in it....I have wireless at my home but I also have it heavily monitored so if someone is dumb enough to try and actually manages to get in I will know about it almost immediately...and all i can say is GAME ON!
