In my opinion, Hadi is giving a strong signal and message to the party to distance itself from Anwar Ibrahim in the wake of that astounding declaration . Hadi knows that Tok Guru cannot now allow the Erdogans who are allied to Anwar to proliferate the party. Tok Guru;s position will be untenable if he continues be associated with the Erdogans. The PAS Islamic or Welfare State stance is in total conflict with a "support for Israel". Anwar Ibahim has outdone and check-mated himself this time with his open declaration of support for Israel, no matter how much his (unreported?) justification of "two-state" solidarity with the Palestinians, as far as PAS is concerned.
