A month ago I purchased a 3Gs and discovered 3.1.3 could not be jailbroken; since then I've been reading blogs, tweets, posts, etc. regarding the history and process of jailbreaking, Apple's hardware and software changes to the iphone, and so on. Obviously the time for a jailbreak is nearly upon us and I'm wondering, as I'm new to this, what else should I do? Thus far, I: have downloaded Firmware Umbrella, found my ECID and created a 64kb SHSH file with it will not update my iphone's firmware from 3.1.3 to whatever apple releases to patch the exploit will not update my itunes from 9.0.3.15 to 9.1.1 I'm sure you guys have had enough of us on 3.1.3 so I thank you for, and appreciate, replies.
